  1. Is it only me, but Autounnatended.xml doesnt get copied into DVD root again? Also AIO Tool doesnt seem to remember that file location, altough it saves it into preset file... :g:
  2. You bet! :dancing: Its the best Win 7 modification software available for now, also easy and intuitive to use...
  3. Nope, it doesnt stay checked if I input same value...so far...
  4. I think that, it will fix it, because I guess (I havent reverse-engineered your program, so I dont know exactly that logic, Im not a programmer also) it happens, because, W7Toolkit thinks: "if it has default value "checkbox should be unchecked" ? :g:
  5. "One little thing" more, you havent updated changelog in program for a while... If you dont update it, replace it with a small button, linking to download page, there is changelog anyway BTW... v73B still has that strange checkbox behaviour, only thing is... it doesnt occure now all the time... Sometimes it works like it should and sometimes it doesnt... :g: Always occures on those "background" tweak checkboxes and also on those, which have dropdown menu...
  6. v72B had this... v73B havent tested yet. As you mention, I remember seeing that Home "thingy", but thought that its something in my preset and unattended.xml causing it...
  7. Basically on all tweaks, where you can insert something or choose something. Couple of examples: Change Registered Owner, Change Organization. CMD Text, Control panel View, etc... Doesnt happen when youre starting clean, but always occures, if that tweak already has a "value" and you change it afterwards or reinsert that very same "value" ...
  8. Yes, when loading preset... Under options Checkbox stays checked, but file path isnt listed. Also I still have that strange checkbox issue under tweaks...that if i change anything, i have to check those boxes twice. You fixed it in Unattended Creator, maybe you can fix it there too?
  9. You should choose Updates tab and add them tehere. Also make sure that your ordering is correct. IE9 first, and updates later.
  10. This should explain it a little: http://www.wincert.n...dpost__p__79272 Actually, this functionality is now removed from AIO tool, because it caused strange bug/feature. Basically, if you applied Unattended to image once, it always used that first "applied XML" completely ignoring later changes and also file that was placed into DVD root. Now its basically only a copy function and doesnt actually "apply" anything...so just replacing file in DVD root should work... Only thing is, you have to use "clean" image, which hasnt been modified earlier (or at least never had autounnatended.xml applied to it)
  11. Fine by me.. I anyway prefer Unattended way for those... If its not an secret, whats actually is done, behind them?
  12. Found a problem with 2 tweaks in AIO tool. If User folder & Public Folder Location tweak is enabled, on install, this happens: It happens also, when only those 2 tweaks are enabled and nothing else is modified... Also when I load that preset, which includes those, they are not selected...altough I saved preset only containing those two... (Image is HP x64, if it counts) UserFolderTest.ini
  13. Ability to pre-select edition which one to install: Disk formatting and partitioning via unattended. Preferrably separate choices, that we can pre-format partitions, but not wipe whole disc and another with full blown disc wipe.
  14. Yeah, its fixed now, at least I couldnt reproduce it anymore... Even better... Also, it would be very nice to have option to edit user "role" that way (Admin/Standard user)...so you click that field and get dropbox between those two choices...?
  15. File is below... In Unnatended Creator, import file, save into new one... Then tick to "checked" Adminitrator password box, type in new, hit OK, box stays unticked... Now save file again and look into file, password was actually included and also changed... EDIT: Forgot to attach file PS: Last user has same password as Administrator, because of previous "test 1 bug" ... EDIT v2: Basically, as I understand I have to remove and re-create user to fix it, maybe you could create "EDIT" under users tab? It was "bug of my undesrtanding", basically its fine now, ofcourse changing Administrator password wont change users one, its normal behaviour...and should be that way... (I do sometimes, make mistakes also ) Autounattend.xml
  16. Shouldnt it be: "Pending Installation" & "Pending Uninstallation" or "Install Pending" & "Uninstall Pending" ... (English isnt my main language, but those terms look a bit strange to me...)
  17. Same, last user gets Built-in admin password... But, if I change admin password to something else, it will get the first one, from old unattended file... (last user password stays very same, and built-in admin gets new password) Also happens, when I use "correct" XML... Interesting is, if I untick this box and then tick it, it will ask password change, but leaves box unticked afterwards, also noticed such a behaviour under tweaks section in AIO tool. Have to tick those boxes twice... (actually it ticks them, because change occurs, but its not visible, or something, since version .68B actually...first thought its somekind of my PC glitch, but happens here at my workplace too and under VM) PS: I dont have proxy at work, but I have corporate Firewall... EDIT: Uploading Log dialog Box appeared showing error: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.Move(String sourceFileName, String destFileName) at W7T.frmToolsManager.frmToolsManager_FormClosing(Object sender, CancelEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmClose(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5692 (QFE.050727-5600) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- W7T Assembly Version: 1.3.0.71 Win32 Version: 1.3.0.71 CodeBase: file:///D:/W7T130-71B_T2/W7T.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5446 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5447 (Win7SP1GDR.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5698 (QFE.050727-5600) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Management Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Management/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Management.dll ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 8.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 8.0.50727.5420 (Win7SP1.050727-5400) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.VisualBasic/8.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. 18. Its the very same, you tested yesterday From post #52 in this thread http://www.wincert.n...dpost__p__79229 Only thing which is different, it doesnt have Default Serial key included...
  19. Imported that old "messy" XML into unattended creator and saved it again to new file. Also unticked checkbox from "Administrator password" and ticked it again...to replace that... After that, all users will have same password as built-in Administrator... Also its clearly visible in autounnatended.xml if you open it in text editor...
  20. Can confirm, It works excellent... Minor Bug in Unattended Creator, all users will have "administrator password" in created XML...and ofcourse at post-install also then...
  21. Maybe you should also add option, install "version X only", as described here: http://technet.micro...28WS.10%29.aspx <ImageInstall> <OSImage> <InstallFrom> <MetaData wcm:action="add"> <Key>/IMAGE/NAME</Key> <value>Windows 7 HOMEPREMIUM</value> </OSImage> </ImageInstall> Because you cannot "autodetect" other keys and versions? Also this makes "choosing edition" window unattended
  22. C.\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml Is described here: http://technet.micro...28WS.10%29.aspx Basically its the very same file, which windows setup has cached to that location
