I use RVMI for nearly everything. But I use Nlite as well. Some addons work with one, but not the other.
I've never used HFslip, and I didn't even realize WPIW would do integrations (I use it post install).
A tool is a tool...
whatever will get the job done is fine.

Wow, nothing says love like a bit of code...

A years subscription for NOD32?
Oooh nice! Better still is Eset Smart Security.

Rick, dumb question here:
Should XPtsp be applied to source before/after integrating this addon with nlite?
It's the order of things I need to know.
-
yeah, well peopel should realy use the addon version, im know its a ryan vm integrator only addon but its more betterness!
I use the addon version almost exclusively! It's pure awesomeness! :thumbsup_anim:

Mr_Smartepants: Ok, I fix it before my next release.....
OK, I got another one for you. After the first integration failed, I re-ran the GUI as an admin (Vista64 environment) on the same source. Integration was then successful, but three folders were left behind in the source (backup, programs, resources) as well as two files (Patched.ini, XPtsp.log). The GUI didn't clean up after itself.

@DougieFresh, I found a minor bug in your 1.4.0.2 GUI. When you select 'Browse' and navigate to your source, the 'Next' button is still greyed out until you select 'Back', then 'Next'.
Then it works fine.
-
Wow, thank you.

Sounds good Dougie! Can't wait to test this.

@Everyone! What would you like the prize to be in the next Competition?
Well it certainly shouldn't be any hardware! Anyone in this competition already has what they need.
Maybe a software license where the installers can be downloaded from the vendor's site (a list of different online sources) that aren't too expensive.
That way you wouldn't have to 'mail' anything.

To be honest, when I first installed it I thought "great, Vista sp3...". But the more I use it, the more I like it.
There's no great sweeping changes, but it's the little things I love. It's hard to be specific.
Have I drank too much of the Kool Aid? Possibly, but it's damn tasty!

over time i'll put money a side and i'll get something and we will do something like this again....
<goes off to plan 16-core i7 beast...> :icon_cool:

Woohoo! Alright! Thanks for everyone who voted.
To be honest, I'm surprised I won. I thought for sure HJW would take it.
And I thought there'd be at least one Core i7 rig in there.
I'll take the bragging-rights, but Ricktendo64 gets the prize.

You know that a person gets that same blue screen when DriverPacks Finisher is running just before it loads the chosen default desktop theme, is it possible to incorporate a background picture to replace that screen.
What you want, you can download from here.

2 Mr_Smartepants
The setup.ini is universal. You can replace setup.ini from another Autorun 2009.
Yes, but all the ones I found have the .ini comments in a non-english language (settings=english, comments=NOT english). Google translator is no help.
Unless of course you can tell me where to find an .ini with english comments in the .ini.
That would be most helpful.
-
These are excellent!
Again, can you translate the setup.ini into English please?
I think these are really nice Autoruns. Unfortunately, I cannot use them if the .ini isn't in English.
3rd and final request for English .ini please.

So when is the deadline for votes?
-
Ooh, I think it's a close call between me and HJW.
Remember, If I win, send the software to Ricktendo64. I don't really need it.
-
Wow, very interesting. Nice work Rick.

Stimpy or somebody!!!
give me link for this
Geez, you could at least ask "Please". :thumbsdown_anim:

ppl who problems with the wallpaper being same as this when windows, I know of a regtweak that solves that
Why not post it then. Stop teasing us.

About patching while RVMIntegrator is running, the integrator has an option to break before Driver CAB recabbing.
Yes, but if you integrate the batch addon during the same integration as ANY updatepack, then the batch addon will not patch correctly since the updatepack forces key files into the rvmtemp dir.

Hey Rick, did you receive my package?
Did it help?

I just started playing with the autorun and noticed there's no way to modify them. I was hoping for an accessible .ini or something to adjust so I could add WPIW or DriverPacks Post-install (SAD) to the menu.
