shouldnt really make a difference. what kind of errors are you having?

after the sidebar is installed, go to program files>windows sidebar>gadget installer. theres an msi installer in there....

install the gadget installer in your windows sidebar dir....

you dont need VC2005 if your using ALKY.... maybe that helps...

i couldnt even get it to work with SP2....
