  1. Sorry about that. I fixed the link in the first post. It works now. Thanks for the report!
  2. I tried using it on my Windows Vista install. I didn't see any problems, however, there is no right-click functionality that I saw. This may not be the case with Windows XP, however, I doubt it.
  3. CAD 2009 Edition for Windows XP v1.6 I looked for CAD2009 add-ons on this website, but all I found were Switchless Add-Ons. So I decided to create a true add-on for CAD2009. Using AutoIt, I created a small program that resizes the 1920x1200 picture into whatever resolution is required, then launches the CAD2009 program. This reduced the size of the add-on significantly. UPDATE: CAD 2010 v2.0 has been released! Download links can be found by going here!
  4. True Transparency v1.4.0 FileName: Doug_TrueTransparency_AddOn_v1.1.rar File Size: 1.32 MB MD5 Hash: 089C05075693596D38D2874D858BF13D I was looking for an updated version of True Transparency and all I found was TrueTransparency version 0.9.4. So I updated Gorki's add-on with the latest version of TrueTransparency (v1.3.0). Fixit created some new skins for TrueTransparency, which were included in the add-on. Here are an image of the new skins based on Windows Vista/7: Add-On Changelog: v1.0 - Initial Release v1.1 - Updated to True Transparency v1.4
  5. ViStart 1.6 (build 3685) created by Lee Mathew Chantrey & Windows X I started looking for a up-to-date copy of ViStart and all I found were out of date versions. With Ricktendo's permission, I've updated the contents of Ricktendo64's add-on with the latest version of ViStart available from the website. The version number of ViStart published in this thread has been taken off of the ViStart.exe executable. 7. Vista Aero Cursors: History: These cursors are from Windows Vista RTM. They were slightly modified for completeness and distributed by Herby on the NeoWin forum. I've repackaged them as an add-on for inclusion into an XP source. 8. Updated addon to v2.0. I've removed the original uninstaller and replaced it with an installer in the INF.
  9. Updated add-on to v2.0 and added the ability to uninstall the add-on via Add/Remove Programs. mooms: I'm sorry for the VERY late reply! I've fixed the add-on so that it will integrate properly. It's uploaded now. stsaerox: I'm sorry for the late reply. There are two keys that I'm aware of that affect Windows Explorer. These keys are: (1) Key: HKCUSOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet ExplorerToolbar, Value: ITBarLayout (2) Key: HKCUSOFTWAREMicrosoftInternet ExplorerToolbar, Value: {710EB7A1-45ED-11D0-924A-0020AFC7AC4D} Exporting these two keys and importing them into the add-on should preserve those settings.
  10. Changes made to Original/Neon Extra Package - Upgraded internal version number from 1.0 to 2.0 - Updated TrueTransparency to version 1.3.0 and added 6 new skins based on Windows 7. - Updated CAD 2009 Edition to version 1.6. - Updated ViStart to version 1.6 (build 3685) - Removed the cursors from the "Cursors & Fonts" addon. - New Aero Cursors addon contain all Vista Aera cursors has been created. - Uninstalling UberIcon works properly now. - Uninstalling QT Tab Bar & QT Address Bar addon is now possible. - Removed all Remote Desktop files from the package. (Does not affect theme packages) Unfortunately, the new Aero Cursors add-on cannot be installed using GUI versions earlier than 2.2.0.1, which (as of this point) hasn't been released yet. Once the new version comes out, the GUI will notify the user if an older version of the Extra package is being used and will give an opportunity to download the latest version make the Extra's folder backward compatible. This functionality will enable the GUI to work properly from v2.2.0.1 onward. EDIT: Older GUI versions will continue to work with the newer package, except for the fact that the Aero Cursors add-on will not be installed without manual modification to the Extra package. However, the new "format" allows us to add programs to Component Selection with virtually no effect on our part. EDIT2: If programs are removed from the Extra's package in the future, using an older GUI version will result in broken XP installations because the required files aren't included in the Extra package, but the GUI will make the modifications anyway.
  11. Thanks for the report. I'll look into it. EDIT: I've not only reproduced the problem with the Extra Stuff section, but I can also reproduce it using the Files section if I uncheck a section or file underneath it. I'll have to do a little recoding to make sure everything acts correctly.
  12. Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention that Fixit recently told me that the Original Extra package is incorrect for non-Green and -NeonBlue packages. The visual themes that replace the Luna theme are the Green ones and the non-Green themes have different colored themes. So non-Green theme packages will be updated to include the necessary visual theme files. GUI support is already present for the inclusion of those files. EDIT: All themes have been modified and uploaded again. They are smaller than before, with the visual theme files from the batch versions. I'm sorry if this update inconveniences anybody....
  13. What's Changed in v2.2.0.0: - Fixed some navigation issues with the GUI where wrong pages would be shown. - Fixed an issue with "Install Mode" to disable correct radio button. - Fixed an issue with "Install Mode" so GUI uses Offline mode correctly. - Fixed GUI so theme info is removed if user goes back and enables offline mode. - When using batch version, MSC files are moved into seperate folder in Extra's. - Called 7zip UDF's "Kill Callback" function after each decompression to solve crash. - Removed error messages causing exit from GUI from 7zip unpacking routines. - By default, Extra's package unchecked when using batch versions with the GUI. - Additional programs in Component Selection available only if Extra\Programs folder present. - Added code to circumvent error in creating animated bootscreen control. - Modified update code to use internalized unzipping function. This version makes the XPtsp batch support official. In addition, it resolves the crash situation that Mr_Smartepants found (Thanks, Mr_Smartepants!) Be aware that no theme package is created for inclusion at this time. In addition, we are getting ready to close support for the batch versions of XPtsp, as the GUI is almost ready to take over. I appreciate your understanding. Thanks!
  14. What's Changed in v2.1.0.7: - Added option on the "Choose Install Method" page for offline use of patcher. - Integration page is shown, but Integration option disabled for non-XP OS'es. - Added "/OFFLINE" switch to allow for command-line offline integration/install. - Added "/ONLINE" switch to force online integration/install mode. - Corrected code on "Theme Selection" to show no picture when pictures aren't available. - Added code on "Theme Selection" page to allow use of batch file versions with GUI. - Solved issue with Theme Selection page where no theme is selected by default when offline. - Disabled Task Manager color selection when using a XPtsp batch version. - Added code to move visual theme from theme package before patching begins. - Internalized unzipping theme files in order to reduce the GUI SFX size. - Added bootscreens into GUI SFX so that bootscreen option is usable. I started modifying the GUI in order to support an off-line mode, as well supporting the batch versions. This is an official version. Omitting the un7zip command actually breaks the updating code, but considering that there haven't been any updates in a few months, I doubt anybody will care. I will resolve this issue with the next version.
  15. What's Changed in v2.1.0.6: - Fixed patching routine so that translation code isn't enabled at this point.
  16. Burned: Thanks for the feedback! I will work on the inclusion of using batch files with the GUI for the inclusion of the next major version update. I'll also update the first post to include links to each of the theme files in order to reduce possible confusion. Hopefully, this won't happen again :shy: EDIT: First post updated with pics and links.... Mr_Smartepants: Thanks for the error log. :shy: I see what the problem is. Let me adjust the code and I'll upload a new version to fix this. The translation code was included as part of a test beta and was evidentally not quite disabled for production releases. EDIT2: The logic statement whether to use the translation code was incorrect, hence the incorrect running of the GUI.
  17. Mr_Smartepants: Do you have a file in the source folder called Error.log? If so, please send that error log to me so I can see what error messages Reshacker is spitting out. Thanks! Burned: The message you received about no theme packages available happens only when the GUI can't contact the server for some reason and there's no theme packages available. In offline mode, you must have a theme package already downloaded in the same folder as the GUI SFX. There are several theme packages available. Fixit already referenced the Black theme package for you a few posts ago (which can be downloaded by clicking here). You will have to download one of them in order to proceed with your installation/integration. Please note that while the GUI uses the same resources as the batch versions, the GUI cannot be used with any batch version like what you are attempting to do. I can make modifications to the GUI to use the resources from a batch version, however, that will not happen for a while, as I think the code changes would take a while to implement. Now, that having been said, there is a way to MAKE the batch resources usable to the GUI. I'm gonna write a batch file and post it on the server, then I'll add another post to this thread with directions on how to use it.
  18. What's Changed in v2.1.0.5: - Fixed Install Method page so that Live Install can be selected again. Thanks for the bug report! Oh, man! I can't believe that I incorrectly coded a in-between page that will show up in v3.0..... Right now, it skips that page and jumps to the appropriate page. I've fixed the code so that it functions correctly.
  19. What's Changed in Version 2.1.0.4: - Replaced CDIMAGE.EXE with MKISOFS.EXE, as well as related code in ISO creation page. - Added the XPTSPORB.JPG file back to the GUI, since it was accidentally removed during testing. - Added code to verify that XPTSPORB.JPG is present before modifying XP source. - Fixed the Integration code so that options are not performed if they haven't been unchecked. - Added some lines to language file that were missed in previous versions. NOTE: The ability to download from the website has been problematic in the last few days. I apologize for any inconvenience that this caused. I've done a workaround to fix the issue, however, if these problems continue much longer, the website will have to be moved to a different hosting company. I guess we'll just stomach the monetary loss....
  20. Thank you for the bug reports! And don't be sorry about reporting them.... bug reports are kinda annoying, but since we are striving for "perfection", bugs need to be fixed when possible.... Regarding CDIMAGE: I've replaced CDIMAGE with MKISOFS in the SFX package, and and used the command-line that you indicated in the RyanVM post in the code. Hopefully the problem with that hotfix will go away..... although why CDIMAGE creates the problem is WAAAY beyond me! Regarding XPtsp Orb: Okay, here's what happened. Somehow, the Orb got moved from the Pics folder where it should be, so when v2.1.0.3 got compiled, it wasn't included. So I've added the Orb back to the XPtsp GUI, so that file shouldn't be missing anymore. I've also made some code changes to ensure this doesn't happen again.... Regarding Blank POpup Window: This problem occurs when the GUI creates a control for a picture that doesn't exist. The control isn't created, so when the GUI assigns a function to the control that was SUPPOSED to be created, it got assigned to the checkbox control instead. Added the Orb back to the SFX fixes this issue, so the blank screen should not happen again. This also fixes the ability to deselect the Orb.
  21. Changing to a free hosting company may be an option, considering that the bandwidth usage has dropped significantly since I split the Extra's and resources from the XPtsp GUI. However, the service that has been paid for through September, and we might as well take advantage of that.... unless FatCow gives us sufficient reason to leave...
  22. No, all the AutoRun files are contained in the executable file. It's a 7zip SFX executable. Simply unpack it and make your modifications to the files held within the folder for it. I actually found a post with a batch file to recombine the 7zip SFX header and config file with whatever 7zip file you create.
  23. What's Changed in v2.1.0.3: - Fixed ISO Creation page to place correct text where an error message is shown in progress bar. - Corrected number of tasks for Integration and Live Install. - Fixed kernel patching problem with an XP install pre-patched with XPtsp. - Fixed issue with XPtsp GUI and DSI during RunOnceEx by renaming the XPtsp SFX. In case you're wondering why it took so long to count the tasks to perform, I've been working long hours at work. Yesterday, I didn't have time to make the corrections. Today, I was hit hard by a sinus/ear infection and am not going to be at work until Monday. :thumbsdown_anim:
  24. Quite interesting about the removal add-on! Later today, I'll post that information in the first post for those interested. It's good to know that the XPtsp GUI isn't screwing up the install (at least, that I can figure). This fix can be integrated into the GUI once user_hidden fixes his update pack, however, testing would be required to see if installing the XPtsp theme results in the same issue as integration.... Regarding visual errors: LOL! I'll fix the code so that they go away! The unintended error message on the ISO creation page has been fixed on my end, however, I'm still counting the tasks that need to be performed and correcting that code. Thanks for the report! :thumbsup_anim: EDIT: I wonder if removing just the KB hotfix registry entries would result in the proper install of the hotfix via ROE.....
  25. What's Changed in v2.1.0.2: - GUI now reports errors during Reshacker and create error log with reshacker errors. - Replacement Remote Desktop files in the Extra's folder gets deleted before patch routine begins. - Modified Uninstall code to add back code that was removed in v2.1.0.0. - Language file format moved around (P_04 thru P_08 moved to P_05 thru P_09). - Localized some strings I forgot about on Source Selection page. - Kernels are no longer hex-edited if bootscreen palette does not change. - ISO Creation page now reports if ISO cannot be deleted prior to creation. I tested patching the new kernel with the purple bootscreen and it works just fine. Not BSODs either prior to Windows GUI Setup, nor afterwards, so the BSOD problem is obviously external to the kernel.
