  1. This is my first post on here so please don't bite. I am trying to update a office 2010 sp1 disc which has both the 32bit and 64bit versions. I have copied the whole disc to a folder on my hard drive, downloaded sp2 for both versions of office, extracted the msp and xlm files from the service packs and added them into the correct update folder overwriting any that are already there. When I do a clean office install and I connect to windows update it tells me I need sp2 for which ever version I have downloaded, its as if it does not install the required sp2 files, any help would be appreciated. The office disc I am using is a retail version.
