  1. Hi guys, I hope I'm not being a buzz-killer, but I don't get the chance to check Wincert/Ryan's page as often as I'd like to, and I'm going to be doing a clean install soon. Thing is, there's 55 pages of what looks to be a totally awesome app that I will definitely use - but skimming through some of the pages and the first post with the updates, it doesn't seem to match. E.g., are the default folder colors green or blue? Does the batch file come with the Drive Space Indicator? Is that problem quoted which says it's fixed fixed? Really just trying to catch up, so if it's possible, could the first post be updated/ a bit clearer for us first time users? Thank you if you can, and like I said, it looks awesome, just don't know if I need to install fonts, sounds, etc. and the other questions above. :thumbsup_anim: Big thanks!!!
  2. Hi, sorry if it's a stupid question, but is this like X-Pize (double-click, uninstall)? Or do I need to make a clean install to use it? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks Kel! - Hey, is it possible for this to be a Switchless installer?
  4. Hey Kel, you posted "updated..." What's new in them? :thumbsup_anim:
  5. Hi Kel, Should this go before or after any update pack (e.g. Ryan's)? Using nLite, thanks
  6. Thanks for the clarification - yup, I got the Brico installed which patches the shell32.dll, etc, and something tells me both would not be smart. Thanks again!
  7. Yes, but isn't this a switchless exec.? (e.g. double-click and go)? Thanks
  8. Nice, thanks! BTW does it matter if I have Vista Inspirat Bricopack installed, or is it just another "mod-theme?"
  9. Hiya Kel, Quick question, which if you can't answer, maybe you can point me to it: I would just want one theme (ok, my wife wants it) VS7 as an add-on. How would I unpack it, kill the rest/entries and re-pack it using 7-zip? I'm quite happy with the Vista Inspirat Pack. Thanks, hope it's not too duh of a question
  10. Cool beans, thanks Kel. Totally ur call whether you feel it's worth making a switchless, ur the expert! I normally just use your pack with nLite. Thanks for the clarification.
  11. sorry. is there any chance you could make this as a switchless? If not, thanks anyways for the info! Thought C++2008 wasn't 2000 compatible.
  12. Hi Kel, I know some of the codecs/runtimes aren't compatible with Windows 2000. Just wondering what the worst case scenario would be if this was installed, e.g. C++ 2008 wouldn't be registered, or BSOD?? Thanks
  13. Thanks AAA, that's where I saw it... but it didn't solve my problem, maybe i'm just daft I have XP/NFTS - so you're saying get away form 7-Zip and I need bzip2 to extract the database? It's wierd because once I was able to extract it using 7-Zip, but it was HUGE, so I got rid of it. Sorry Kel, off-topic
  14. I'm no expert, but I'm with Kel, at least from my experience. For example, with Freedb, I downloaded the 3GB offline file, and it just won't unzip for the life of me. It for some reason can't handle the size, and I read somewhere that one could run into this problem and there's a way to fix it, but I haven't found it. Some of the themes seem to be duplicates. Not by name, but visually there's nothing special about a few of them. Gonna try and pack the one's I reeally like up and give it a go from there. Did you ever think of updating these Kel (like with packs that change the icons, fonts, etc.)? BTW is there a theme/add-on pack out there that changes the icons to Vista? I could've sworn Ricktendo had one a while back? Thanks
  15. Yeah, I figured as much. Thanks again, I can never get bored with a theme!!! Question: Just for my OWN USE - I like Mindwood and my wife likes V7 (spelling?), but they're in two different packs. I expanded them and tried to compress them back into one (not all the themes, but a couple) and with no luck (7-zip 4.58 beta). If it's cool with you (not re-posting the addon or anything, I couldn't figure out the compression ratio you used, e.g. how to pack it all back up to work nicely lol. If you don't mind, or point me to a good link, thank you.
  16. Hi Kel, I love these packs, but I have a question for you: whenever I go to change a theme (yeah, I got all three packs installed!!!), it takes like 30 seconds for the list to show. Is that normal? Would you suggest I go with one and see if that's causing the problem (my PC is running slow as heck and I thought it was my MB, RAM, etc.)? GREAT packs, totally awesome, but yeah, maybe I'll install one from now on!!!! Thanks man!!
  17. Thanks so much Kel, I love this pack !!! Thanks dude. This pack should be a must along with IE7 and WMP11 Edit: whoops, I meant for the runtimes but this pack is great too.
