Philip Yip
Was wondering if you can add the Dell 7 Professional Multi-Lingual Skylake Reinstallation .iso to the Windows ISO Downloader? In the meantime one can use the Dell OS Recovery Tool to Download a Windows 7 Pro OEM .iso: http://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukbsdt1/drivers/osiso/recoverytool/ This Tool can be ran on a non-Dell system provided that a Dell Service Tag is input. There seems to be no limitations on how many times a Service Tag is input: 5KR9DC2 - Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit 7GXLCS1 - Windows 7 Pro 32 Bit This is a multi-lingual .iso so can be used for all languages and with some minor workarounds can be used for all OEM and Retail Licenses. The Windows 7 Pro Edition has been updated until January 2016 and unlike Microsoft's 2010 .iso contains IE11, USB 3 drivers and Storage Controller drivers for up to 6th generation Intel Skylake Systems but only for the Pro Edition making it far superior to Microsoft's 2010 Installation Media. The .iso Installation .iso checksums are here: G13K9_PW4KGA00_W7SP1PRO64_ROW(DL).iso (7,404,138 KB): MD5: d363f535afae79139fe8632702613ffb SHA1: f52615d64ebe9b7c7aeb754746356bc3a052c415 SHA256: 2bfa2ebbee84804c8e643bf829644e6c5ef373e63bdeae3a6ac927d371f4c0d0 MT5KY_N6N9GA00_W7SP1PRO32_ROW(DL).iso (5,715,252 KB): MD5: 488ae6c2a7e587e87c12101fde083458 SHA1: c36a77d3dbbe1d248a04a496e2f88ab268ff6ce9 SHA256: b33b6b5a5c98ad33729741b2f2fe4c74bc7a8677f7c13d0c4966fd9ae5ed2c14 Full Details of the Dell Skylake .iso and the necessary workarounds required for all OEM and Retail licenses are available here: http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/download-dell-skylake-windows-7/ Edited January 24, 2018 by Philip Yip
Jan Krohn
Good idea. This will take some tinkering to integrate nicely. Do you have another service tag that will also give 32 bit downloads?
Philip Yip
Unfortunately I don't. I think getting Windows 7 Pro 32 Bit preinstalled on a Skylake system via Downgrade rights was extremely rare so very few service tags will have that .iso. There are rumours it exists (I can't find the site which mentioned it I think somewhere in mydigitallife) and I think there might be a Windows 7 Home Premium .iso also but trying to find details about it. Jan Krohn
That one service tag is good to start off with. Once I get this working, we can think about adding more service tags with different download options (if at all necessary).
Philip Yip
Okay so I have a list of Service Tags and they essentially have 3 Downloads... 2DF4FA00_W10x64ROW_pro(DL)_v3.iso (6,687,824 KB) otherwise known as the Dell Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit 10586 (TH2) Recovery Drive .iso: MD5: 55e87e9226cc9976e90057fd97be32fd SHA1: 3d1e231bd417c5c3b8264925e2b949dda9859644 SHA256: 0d77d4b01029f8d57521dce669c8734fde7f77227c0ef33a85ef866e1e2c0d49 9663HA00_W10x64ROW_home(DL)_v3.iso (6,675,846 KB) otherwise known as the Dell Windows 10 Home 64 Bit 10586 (TH2) Recovery Drive .iso: MD5: a957adfce491131aa4667ed185d0fe00 SHA1: 4bd8822997919da4b80a55933958b731675e4773 SHA256: 63c040fc748f1a9bdd889004e3c6b7a828ba525c6f594f453968448c3e8c22ac G13K9_PW4KGA00_W7SP1PRO64_ROW(DL).iso (7,404,138 KB) otherwise known as the Dell Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit Multi-Language January 2016 Skylake .iso MD5: d363f535afae79139fe8632702613ffb SHA1: f52615d64ebe9b7c7aeb754746356bc3a052c415 SHA256: 2bfa2ebbee84804c8e643bf829644e6c5ef373e63bdeae3a6ac927d371f4c0d0 This was available in the past (for US Service Tags) but looks to be superseded in all cases for the multi-lingual one: WGC5Y_2FR1DA00_W7SP1PRO64_ENG.iso (4,662,522 KB) otherwise known as the Dell Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit English Only January 2016 Skylake .iso MD5: c3bf0b9562a9bd9db7b8600163ff9e33 SHA1: 2785cf6a322ecc5979b1a6a179e4e797d5d64d25 SHA256: a91d80ba6d937069c113961abe1b08771a0961b2daf23d69d0c795bea3d22291 In my opinion the Windows 7 Pro OEM Reinstallation .iso G13K9_PW4KGA00_W7SP1PRO64_ROW(DL).iso is the only useful download here. Jan Krohn
This took a lot longer than planned, but I've finally added the prototype of a DELL link generator to the latest update.
Philip Yip
Great thanks. You have the 2 Windows 7 Pro (64 Bit and 32 Bit) that we've found offered for most models. I tested it last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLUNd9tdelQ Some users commented that they got different ISOs with the following Service Tags. The Latitude E7250 ISO is slightly larger, I'm not sure if it offers additional drivers, I don't have that model to test with... The Precision T1700 ISO is from 2011. I'm not sure why this is, but it may be useful to have this ISO. I've had reports by some people saying the newer ISO didn't work on their system (but it's worked on all systems I tested it with). Latitude E7250 Service Tag: 9C03J72 (January 2016) - gives V24C6_GGFY7A00_W7SP1PRO64_ROW.iso Precision T1700 Service Tag 4W7C132 (November 2011) - gives N87PW_X00-00_D0V2KA00_7601_W7SP1_PROFESSIONAL64_RTM_DELL(DL)_.iso V24C6_GGFY7A00_W7SP1PRO64_ROW.iso (7,521,254 KB): MD5: 4da7a972664e6db1091d7c5959d2b94a SHA1: f0cdd94c0aa2a28bc48c82b65c83ac24e5c6fc52 SHA256: cc1a650e9fac2f89ffd68f64a272203fd7581e66c729a7e8a89bcbcfb4d7b101 N87PW_X00-00_D0V2KA00_7601_W7SP1_PROFESSIONAL64_RTM_DELL(DL)_.iso (5,488,294 KB) MD5: bcd068249a4d00e124a0c2c597da42d7 SHA1: 10529a3a46bf8cb917e317512640e6846e1c3f16 SHA256: 0510cec214db80ce811040daebd7e2e494290e87d2afd8f0c0cfffb49a59fa27
Jan Krohn
I will add more with the next update. The Dell API accepts some Service Tags only when being called from their own downloader. I still need to investigate more about the exact difference, so that I can fix this.
Jan Krohn
So the new version has a much greater selection of models, however, many of them include the same Windows images, but there are also several new ones. It's now also possible to preview the file name, file size and SHA256 hash. If anyone has any service tags that produce different downloads, please let me know. If you don't want to expose your service tag publicly, send me a PM. I've been looking for Vista, XP, Win Server and other Linux service tags on Google, without much success so far... Philip Yip
Great work! I didn't know there was a Home Basic ISO. At one time someone told me there was a Home Premium ISO but I never managed to find it. I like your updated UI with the SHA256 at the bottom. It may be far easier said than done but it would be useful if you had that for the Microsoft Downloads also.

Pretty much impossible to be done without any hash information available in the Microsoft API...

I guess it could be done by downloading all the ISOs and checking them with Rufus but it may be too much of an undertaking to do for all the images your Download Tool offers. Jan Krohn
For the Windows downloads this might work. Most of them can be checked with the "ISO Tools" anyway. Actually all of them except the insider and developer editions should be covered. The Office downloads from officecdn.microsoft.com however are occasionally updated, without any notification from MS. That would lead to people getting the wrong hashes, and eventually great frustration (at the latest after they have downloaded the file for the second or third time). I don't think Microsoft will Update their Windows ISOs. The Windows 7 ISO haven't been updated since 21st November 2010. I just spent quite a bit of time writing a guide to bring the Bootable USB up to date using DISM. It is unlikely for them to Update the Windows 8.1 ISOs and for Windows 10 they will just release a totally new Build.
