It is not any more stealing than uploading Hold 'em and other Vista games for Xp that require

Alky with Vista Serial Number to operate .... aren't u supposed to buy Vista to get those games

and pay for your Vista Serial No???? ..... same Alky used in Windows Vista Sidebar for Xp ... so if

you stole Deskspace .... others stole Games, Sidebar and other things for Xp.... that technically belong to Vista ... and should be purchased if wanted.

The program was one that you actually had to pay for to use the full version of.

When you use the Vista games with ALKY YOU provide the serial number not us.

It's like providing hacked uxtheme.dll files or hackers for them. YES it is technically illegal, yet MS hasn't cracked down on it. Technically providing ANY MS file for download is illegal, so go ask this at RyanVM's and MSFN's 98 lovers section too.

Until then we will defiantly not allow the distribution of what is clearly warez. Many programs out there give you a full version when you pay for it that requires no serial or registration and giving that out to others is stealing.

all I really meant was that I felt it was harsh to just say "It's Still Stealing" to a guy that uploaded an addon without serial or crack in it .... I just think it would have been more appropriate to say ...hey, see u didn't upload a serial or crack, but the site doesn't want to host a retail version of any software, so we therefore need to disable your link and close the topic.

If he had uploaded with serial or crack, I would be 1st in line to say, get rid of this, abruptly.

btw ..... the Hold 'Em game and latest Sidebar come with latest Alky .... which has Vista Ultimate serial pre-applied .... we (the downloader, does not add serial .... it's all provided in the addon).

But like I said .... my main concern was the manner his addon was closed.

Whatever way we we want to cut it ... we are all cheating/stealing by various methods.

The double standard is I am not posting "pay for" programs fully activated and functioning...I told deny if he was going to post a pay for program to not provide a crack or serial to let the user add his or her serial examples:

Restorator

Window Blinds

Axialis Icon Workshop

AI-Roboform

All pay for programs but if a user wants to have a fully functioning program they have to activate it

I've reopened the topic after DennyMK explained this situation to me over PM.

Apparently he got this application as a present in retail version and he just wanted to share it only with our forum visitors/members. As he didn't mean to share this as warez, I've reopened the topic, so he could remove this addon and make another one with the trial version.

Just because the installer requires no crack or serial does not mean its not warez

That's a deep question... Here and there, there are violations of law, making addons and stuff...so by your oppinion, everybody have right and from the other side, everybody doesn't......

I've reopened this topic just because DennyMK didn't have bad intentions and that he didn't know that he's doing an illegal activity on this forum.

As I explained situation to him, he instantly removed the retail package and made another "trial" one instead.
