Windows 7 Antivirus or Internet Security.
ESET received mostly positive comments regarding its compatibility with Windows 7 in beta and RC stages, moreover, many users recommend it as the best security solution for this new operating system. It's working pretty well, although developers do not officially state it is compatible with Windows 7. Most applications that are written and work with WIndows Vista will work on Windows 7 without any issues, but I'm sure that Eset will release a Windows 7 version of Nod32 before new operating system reaches shops in October.

I'd go for Nod32, but you can wait for other members suggestions and experiences.

Now, how did you forget the most known Eset Nod32? I'm using it since it's very soft on system resources and also very fast in detection. Although I have to say that recently I was experiencing computer freezes so I've uninstalled it just yesterday and now I don't have any protection until I move to Win 7. I'll probably use Nod32 again, since I have an active license for it. I've installed AVG on my friend's PC and I can say it's pure trash. It was reporting some files which were not in the system at all. Full paths were non-existent. For a free AV, I'd be safer with Avast.

Well, that's not the solution, you should raise the ticket to get a support from IPB. IPB v2.3.6 won't be updated anymore and probably if you'll have any issues with it, you'll be asked to upgrade. Yes, I've made a mistake when we did comp specs signatures. Now we're having troubles with it. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, until then I kindly ask members to remove their computer specs signature. I guess you were pointing to that sigs, right cc10? As for the "interests" issue. Fixed. Interests won't be shown in the topic view which was default setting.

I believe there's no option for that. This feature only displays "new topics", not latest posts.

There's suppose to be two features for this, this (new) one and an old style. Will check for an old search style.. Also have you marked all posts read before this? Or is the forum showing all of the posts as unread for you?

You can temporarily remove the specs signature, until we fix this out. Can you please post a screenshot of the issue where you should see the last person who respond to the topic?

I've just tested the forum with Google Chrome and Safari Browser and I have to say that I'm disappointed how slow Chrome works. Using Safari and Firefox the forum is flying! Some of our users have huge "Interests", so we kindly ask them to narrow those lines down, since it's shown in the user profile - topic view.

we had to change to default skin since some members which are using lower resolutions would have to use vertical scrollbar. Our new skin is a work in progress and should be available soon.

We're pleased to inform you that our forum has successfully been upgraded to the latest version of IPB forum software. For a start, you should mark board as read so we can avoid server crashes Hopefully you'll all enjoy this new look and features. We still have to update several areas of the board, but no matter that, it can safely be used from now on. Wincert.net Admin Team.

Wiped External hard drive by mistake need help
There are specialized companies which have tools and equipment to restore data from more than 5 layers format. We had to contact one company regarding data restore from one disk that was formated. Believe it or not, we got all of the data back. As for you, you can try "Get Data Back for FAT32 or NTFS" or "Active Undelete" applications.

An upcoming upgrade of our forum software
Patience my friend, patience. There was a bug in version 3.0.0 which caused CPU to sweat, even on smaller web sites, which means that we would certainly had problems. We're waiting for the 3.0.1 release which should be available this week.

Windows 7 RTM and July 13th Mystery.
Well, I wouldn't trust Torrent sites. Windows 7 still isn't available through SA benefit, but then again, it might leak if hardware manufacturers did get RTM before the MSDN and Technet subscribers...
