The new driver integrator has been released, needs proper testing though!
-
The problem is though that when you plug in a device later it will ask for the drivers, it will only install what's plugged in there and then
I would be able to do it so they are stored for when you plug in your devices but it will not add unsigned drivers, is that ok?
-
Driver Integrator v2.0 is almost done, after installation of Windows you will be presented with a screen attached.
*No unsigned Driver popups
*only installs the drivers it needs
*Closing the screen will cancel the progress and load windows like normal

Why on XP? did u try the latest build (94) on Vista/7?
-
Im just uploading v1.0.1 of this addon, and your welcome.

51.1MB

Description
"Windows 7 E" does not come with a web browser, when you integrate this it will popup after install to let you choose what browser you want! Just in case the browser you want is not listed, it also includes a small built-in browser so you can download it yourself
Note:
You can still use this even if you do not have the E version!
-
Thanks I'll give it a go
-
Does anyone know how to install drivers using cmd?
thanks

Try build 94, Windows 7 users now get promted to install Wimfltr.
I decided to reinstall my computer to build 7600, got the missing file error. Installed WIM Filter and then it worked W7T was the only thing installed.
-
UPDATE: Has been tried on a fresh install, so its just not working, i dont know why... i give up lol
-
Try installing Wim filters?
OK remove W7T fully even delete the Windows 7 Toolkit folder in program files and try the latest build.
-
Vista-Tools link has been fixed, and thanks Reaper for fixing the addons
So is everything working ok now?
-
Uploaded build 90
*Fix: Couldn't mount images
*Enabled Edit name and description in WIM Manager
UPDATE 1: Ironically, the code that was trying to find out what happened when mounting the WIM errored (Access Violation). So basically, it errored trying to display an error message LOL!
UPDATE 2: Just fixed the above error and the originally error which caused the above error!
-
Im struggling to fix this error, im getting it now
-
You may also want to uninstall W7T Completely, re-download the latest and try again.
-
I keep getting the same error. I tried running as an adiministrator and also ran memtest for @ 6 hours...
Then I tried my other PC, Same thing there too.
Do the other tools work fine and mount fine, Update/Addon Integrator?
Any anti-viruses installed?
-
Great work N1K!
-
The size issue has been fixed and also some good Addon Integrator improvements:
*Faster mounting time
*Integrate into multiple versions
*Can cancel the process
*Better error catching code
I've tested it and it works perfectly now that its using 6.1.18000 WIMGAPI from vista sp1
-
does anyone get any registry mounting errors?
-
Well Update Integrator and Driver Integrator let you select multiple images, so when updates have been integrated into one image it will move to the next selected image > integrate > next image, etc...
I will make it so you can select multiple images on the version select screen, all you would have to do is press "Select" > "Select All", or hold down control key to select each version you want
EDIT: LMAO, it was already done, i just forgot to enable it on the version selection screen which only required changing the "False" value to "True". Next release it should be available, so about.... 40 mins time, maybe less.
UPDATE: Done, update to the latest version to integrate addons into multiple versions. It will work with all addons!
*Integrate Addons into multiple versions
*Change W7T Temp Folder

Oops was closed by accident, good to hear *Reaper*
Thanks again for updating the database list for me
-
Hey, i haven't used/tested any addons in a long time, do they still seem to be working properly? When windows has finished installing, did they appear correctly, etc..
Thanks
-
Nope, never done activation, never will. Sorry

unsigned drivers is already supported but you have to use registry mount and goto
HKLM\WIM_Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run Once
You will see DrvInst value like... C:\W7TDrivers\DrvInst.exe and all you need to do is add " -unsigned" to the end without the quotes. Don't worry i will make it alot easier than that lol
It will overwrite if its already there, essentially updating it. As long as the folder name is the same lol. It's new so it only does the basics.
UPDATE: New version uploaded with something which will make the above task a lot easier
