    Slow progress at the minute with the WIM Manager. I can get it to display mounted images and the images inside a WIM file but i'm struggling with the GUI and how it should look haha :P

    Firstly, if you have any suggestions about the improvements below or questions, let me know :)

    • WIM Manager

    This is currently in progress. It now reads WIM files and currently mounted directories.

    • Error Handling and Logs

    Today I have been working exception handling, this will allow finally catching any errors you experience within WTK 2.x. At the minute, any error will just crash the entire application.

     

    Another change is that the log file will now be in XML format to allow easier reading.

    • Update Cache

    The update cache is also getting re-worked. I've noticed in the current cache that some entries are invalid and contain erroneous values so from now on they will automatically NOT be included.

     

    The update cache is also being done in XML to allow easier reading and just better in general :P

    The final report has now been completed and handed in, which means no more paper work, just pure coding. To ease myself back into the tasks, today will be spent updating the updateCache.db file and the exclusive ISOs :)
    EDIT: Feels strange actually programming again. Got a lot to catch up on :P

    If you're wondering why there's not many posts, it because I'm coming to the end of the year and have to finish the WTK report and other coursework. 2 more weeks and it's all over with and I can continue with the programming  :D
