Before I start a bunch of tests today I am wondering if v65 integrate updates, addons and drivers properly?

MOVED

Awesome Rica Thanks!!!
You can make your own silent installer from the 4.5 .net official rtm release with the ''usual'' MS .exe switches - /quiet /norestart. I can confirm it works 100% this way, as you can see with mine from here.
-
Rick since I am doing some new integration's this weekend I would think I should go straight to 4.5 but how would you suggest I install it since you are not ready for a release yet?
Separate, will slim and release when the first hotfix comes out containing the special MSP to patch it to receive LDR hotfixes (like KB971891 did for 4.0)

I HATE MOVING  I moved a year ago and I am STILL unpacking :sad01_anim:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :beerchug: :fun:

I run only updates in a single integration and then my SFX and then my drivers and tweaks
here is what i add for IE9
McRip Windows 7 x64\Additional\KB982861.Internet.Explorer.9.0\IE9-win7.msu
McRip Windows 7 x64\Additional\KB982861.Internet.Explorer.9.0\Updates\IE9-Windows6.1-KB2719177-x64.msu
Did you install the windows update (7.6.7600.256) in the 'additional' folder?
-
My last integration using v50 worked with IE9 no problem...
-
gotcha... "desktop.ini'
Made it ignore ico and ini files.
But what is that specific ini file name, so i can just ignore ini files with that name.
-
WOW that worked!!! Your amazing!!! What did you do?
Ahh that's cool, what's the name of this ini file?
EDIT: Try test 8: http://wincert.net/leli55PK/Testing/

I am definitely a little weird and anal with my file management :-) but here is a better explanation:
The top five folders with underscores are simply empty folders that are colored to function as a legend for the remaining folders which are the actual .msu and other files mostly from McRip. Each folder that is colored has an .ico and an .ini which is how they are colored. The .ico exclusion you created works perfectly but after I run the updater for some reason it always moves just the .ini from the "_Included in Step - 2 - ADMIN ONLY" folder which is why the previous picture showed the color change from Aqua to nothing... not a problem just odd that I can't figure this out... has to be me
I have no idea, i don't know how your folders are setup but from your screenshot you have your folders setup in a unique way. :/
-
But the odd thing is I have an .ini file in 28 other folders also but it ONLY move this one single .ini file... whats up with that
If you have a file and it's not listed on the server it will assume it's and old update and just move to an old folder.
-
Your fix worked so thank you but I do have an odd issue that I simply can't seem to figure out. Every time I run the update it moves just one of the .ini files out of only one single folder "_Included in Step - 2 - ADMIN ONLY" into the OLD and for the life of me I can't seem to figure out why. I have recreated the entire folder and tried write protecting it but nothing seems to work so for now I just keep copying the .ini back. Any idea what I may be missing?

Sorry for the late follow-up REALLY crazy day at work yesterday. I used T2 on 2 different copies of my already downloaded files, folder 1 was missing the latest 4 file updates(had the old ones) and folder 2 had 3 of them (I manually updated them yesterday morning). T2 showed that the files were missing in BOTH folders so I downloaded them in both and all seems fine.
EDIT: I have taken my original folder and tried to replicate this 3x and I can't... every time I check for Office now updates it all seems to work fine... not sure what the heck I did :g: I will check the win7 updates now
EDIT: all seemed to work fine with the win7x64 updates
-
I am running some integrations now for the next few hrs so I will test away
Fixed the issue, Win Toolkit now checks if the file date on the server is newer than the file itself. I have more normal Win7 updates now as apparently some on the server are newer than the ones i have, i.e. IE9, changelog and about 20 other updates.
Just need a tester to make sure it works
-
Yeah that's exactly what I saw... sorry should have been clearer in my explanation... still drinking my morning coffee
Works fine for me, screenshot?
EDIT: I see the file as being downloaded in the list but i have an older version.
-
The last three office updates from McRip didn't show available to download in v50
-
I use it all the time in WIN 7x64
The SAD2 script should work reliably in Win7 - at least it is supposed to.
Cheers and Regards

What ADF.LY links?
How are you guys coping with the adf.ly links?
-
Is there a hack to set the recycle bin size by percentage... had it in XP can't find it for the life of me in Win7
-
Just to chime in... yes I hate adf.ly ... but it doesn't bother me a bit knowing that it is helping you and others that are helping us all...go for it and thanks
-
Your awesome!!! THANKS!!!
-
Will we still have the move up and down buttons?
I've managed to reproduce the error.
EDIT: I might just remove the 'Move to Top' and 'Move to Bottom' buttons, they're more hassle than they are worth.

Since I have wondered in the past about other versions functioning or not for integration I can report that v33 worked for all my updates and my SFX/silent installers... I didn't get to try v34 yet.
Wondering about v65
in Win Toolkit

So what was the last working version that had no problems with updates, addons and drivers? Lego was like a machine pumping out new versions so I skipped a bunch of versions :g:
