  1. I think he is asking where/how to "integrate to installation media" SoLor's Windows6.1-KB2495879-x64 update
  2. I'm just finishing a loooong workday and will run some tests tonight and report back... thanks very much
  3. Yes every time I do my testing in this manner I have to delete that line so it will let me select a new WIM
  4. Yes that file does exist as it is the previous integration folder
  5. I was completing my SoLoR updates and went to integrate these to the installation media as referenced in the updates but noticed the version in my source seems later than the version in the update. I checked the KB article and that just further confused me
  6. What the heck am I doing wrong... :sad01_anim: Using R100 yesterday i used a clean source and integrated just 2 sets of drivers (Chipset & Mass Storage) and let it complete.Since I like to do things in steps and I am testing, today I copied the entire working directory to a new folder (STEP 2) and was going to integrate IE9 but when I select AIO Tool it gives me the following popup: EDIT: OK so I deleted the following line in my settings file and was able to select the new directory with no error... still not sure I understand sLastWIM=E:\_Slipstream\_7Builds\W7T_7SP1x64ent_TechNet-Step-1-Drivers\SOURCES\install.wim EDIT 2: After successfully integrating IE9in my STEP-2 I have to remove the same entry in order to move on to my next STEP-3
  7. AWESOME!!! Its fixed thanks... PS hope all the exams and university work are going well.
  8. When I do the Solor Additions Download it constantly show me the dotnet 4 additions. I have tried new directories, deleting and re-downloading and even selecting them over and over but no change 1st run of the additions download shows them to download After I check them to download and hit download they move to the already downloaded area and are checked
  9. Thanks... I was begining to think it was me lol
  10. I have tried a dozen different tests on this but I am still experirenincing the same issue with this update always showing as a new update when I use .98 but not with .96... does anyone else have this problem?
  11. Hi Rick, Thanks for responding... so your saying these are actually on the original ISO and had nothing to do with me adding the two driver packs or anything else I did?
  12. I did a clean extraction from my ISO and then did and AIO adding just Chipset & MassStorgae drivers to the image. When it finished it shows me the following UPDATES installed and pending... any ideas? http://clip2net.com/s/1CeIC
  13. OK... I have managed to confuse myself on this one because I just extracted my ISO to a new folder, ran the AIO with no pre-configs and added two sets of drivers from my drivers pack so it selected the WIM fine. I am running it now for a 2nd time and will run more tests all day but all seems OK
  14. IMHO... I think you should target that as 1.5 since there seem to be so many little issues with the current release
  15. I noticed the image has expired... I will try some tests tomorrow and get a new screen capture

  17. The dust is seriously being shaken from my brain now lol... no reel to reel but I do have a box of vintage 1/4" home videos my father made about 45 years ago... luckily the player still works and we viewed a few of them recently ...on a side note the rubber bands that were around the tapes were still in perfect pliable condition after all that time... I don't even understand that!!!
  18. STILL laughing everytime I see this
  19. I do NOT want to get caught in a US vs Russia thing nor do I want to underestimate the difficulties people have there... in fact I am Ukranian by heritage and when my family went there to visit relatives the stories they came back with were unreal BUT I can only imagine that your not exactly aware of some of the hardships that are very real here in the US and the fact that in this wonderful country we have unreported problems with malnutrition, poverty and homelessness.
  20. Toooo funny... your killing me... so get a load of this... I went to a garage sale 4 months ago and the people were actually selling there 8 track tapes... I started to clean my garage last week and found a box where I had 6 laserdiscs... I couldn't get rid of them yet LMAO and I still have a box of cassettes with music I recorded when I was in some bands but I have no player and they hard to find in any local stores so they just sit there as a memory :-)
  21. Kel.. I too admit to being an ex-pirate... I did plenty of "cheating" while trying to learn BUT the things everyone have now were non existent back then. Now with virtiual machines, demo's, trials and yes TechNet it's much different.. just my 2 cents
  22. bphlpt you pretty much nailed it lol.. the systems I worked on were DEC and they use the 3 platter 10 MEG packs... do you remember they had a small site glass that would break in case of shock LOL The memory cards were huge like 12 inches and we literally would use a logic probe to "gate bang" right down to the chip when troubleshooting... and if you didn't have your wire wrap tool to make engineering changes you were screwed LOL I actually have electronic engineering dgree and when I started we were studying Tubes and transistors and gates had just started being included in the 1st year clases so when LSI (Large Scale Integration) came out it was a HUGE step forward for the 8080 WOW the memories lol
  23. You have me beat by about 5 years but MAN you brought back memories lol... working on STC tape drives, the punch card mess and of course 14 inch hard drive platters that were 3 to 10 MB's... believe it or not I JUST got rid of my logic probes and two tektronix 465 scopes... hard to fathom the progress... and for the record I am constantly "humbled" and regulary run across people that amaze me with their skills and knowledge My Thanks to Everyone
  24. Their are a few other VERY IMPORTANT rules which you seem to be completely ignorant of: 1) Treat people with courtesy and respect 2) Don't be soo judgemental & arrogant 3) Think before you speak or write And one that my Grandmother taught me and I love: If you have nothing good to say about someone DON'T SAY ANYTHING ... you really need to check your arrogance at the door!!!
