  1. se Sorry about the lack of answer .. But I have been on work .. The version i use is 0.2.x you have in topic, and it automatic update for 0.5.x Alpha something. -
  2. When i try to download some of the things from this else excellent toolkit you have make, i get this error message .. Even if i was choosing to download to "root" with a foldre called lets say "C:\w7" -- Because first i thought i was because of the length of the folders/file if it was in like "C:\Documents and Settings\my name\Downloads\filname.here" because it was usually when it was long names, at least i thought , bought it does it also when i queue lest say 10 downloads with small file names, like 7-zip, hashtab etc you have linked to Se slutningen af denne meddelelse, hvis du vil have detaljer om,hvordan du starter JIT-fejlfinding i stedet for denne dialogboks. ************** Undtagelsestekst ************** System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: startIndex kan ikke v error_toolkit.txt
  3. Hello .- Even im just registered today, im not new .. i actually use MSFN.org normally and sometimes i end up in here especially when you made your Windows Vista Update toolkit .. It was the best "Kit" in my eyes of those "integrator" i could find ... You Toolkit and Vlite was given me many hours to make the perfect Vista Disc. Now i had tried the Release Candidate of Windows 7 .. And i Thought hey, lets test while in its in RC so i now what its the best Solution for my computer, when Windows 7 is Hitting the Stores. So i found in here and tried your software, but i got that memory error first, then i game up .. Because i got the error message in my Native Language and actually i havent seen that error before so i didnt exactly now the correct english term for it .. But i was to tired to even want to write. Then i saw you today actually had other ppl with same mistake, and read that you had updateded it today .. Lucky me i guess .. Then i got that message #2 you talk about .. then i thought okay , either im has become Computer Retard the last 2 weeks or maybe its the Windows 7 there is bugging me. Then i look again now .. and lucky me now you have fix that error to. So i just have 1 more issue .. And its because you wrote in topic even the smallest errors should be reported. 1. In Menu "Tools" is missing. - Vista-tool 1.0 (I believe its the tool with a more easy interfaee for integrate updates, i reckon the name from last year when i had problemms with vlite - Hash-Tab it says URL isnt Recognize 2. In Menu "Add-Ons" .. - Notepad 2 - Reapers Run Analyzer i think it was called.
  4. BTW question for the Author .. Can i take info from here directly and put it on my blog .. I will translate it to my native language then .. i Know a few people who could use the info .. ))
  5. I can just say Brilliant ... Its actually let the "v-Generation" as i call it because the last few years , virtualization is more and more often .. and a person without "advance" knowlegde of the new OS systems cant understand whats the good idea to set up a Virtual PC in a Windows Vista and Install Windows XP .. And the same time they dont think its weird .. Because a normal installation is also "virtual" .. but with this info i actually can show people what i mean and why i do it
  6. Why even wa to test something you dont know works .. If you want to make a Economy way to install buy a 8 GB USB Flash Pen ,. Copy your Windows Vista Install files over there and boot from that .. The other method, to use your harddrive i would think its bad idea. Especially if the Harddrive fail under installation .. Or better yet install Virtual PC from Microsoft its Free - VirtualBox - VMware 30 Days Freetrial - That would probaly save you much time .. and you dont mess up your Normal installation of Vista so the bootsector is intact if the install fail.
