  1. I noticed the md5 of the files on your site are different than the ones I have. I'll give these new ones a shot and report back.
  2. If I remember correctly, the boot.wim image 1 is the recovery console (safe-mode), & image 2 is the normal setup for all editions. Normally you would inject mass storage drivers (or LAN also) into boot.wim image 2. Attempting to inject drivers into image 1 would corrupt it.
  3. Make a file "cleanup.cmd" and call it last from WPI. I use the following code in my cleanup: DEL /F /S /Q "%Temp%\*.*" DEL /F /S /Q "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\*.*" RD /S /Q "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\" mkdir "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp\"
  4. How's the development coming along? Has any progress been made? I know summer is the worst time for coding because everyone wants to go outside and do stuff.
  5. Of course! Real life always takes priority! We'll be waiting patiently. Thanks for all your hard work!
  6. Because it happened to a different file, I'm suspicious of my symantec a/v interfering. Once the new green.theme resources are complete, I'll try the integration again with sav disabled.
  7. I'll do another integration just to make sure I didn't do something stupid. I'll send you the file it's choking on. OK, now it's choking on a different file. :confused02: It's been hung for about 10 min on that one file. SPRC041D.dll All GUI settings at defaults this time. You got PM.
  8. I used the Green theme (fresh download) with 3.0.0.11, and I can confirm rr650's post that the task manager issue #3 still exists. I did NOT try any other theme (my personal choice). BUT, the logon/logoff screen bug is now gone! :thumbsup_anim: *Edit Currently testing the Green theme with the Neon extras. I'll report back when done. Incidentally, in testing on my MCE source, leaving all GUI settings at defaults, the process will freeze during integration at SPxx416xxx.dll (can't remember the name of the file.) Disabling the translating options works fine. *Edit 2 testing the Green theme with the Neon extras also fails the task manager portion.
  9. I just tried 3.0.0.10 again with the new original extras file. Same problem with the task manager. Am I doing something wrong? Or do we need to be patient and wait for a GUI code update? I'm also still getting the dump of .log files at the root of C:\
  10. Confirmed! Also the "Applications" tab is present but the content is missing.
  11. Thanks. I'll give this a shot. Also, I just noticed that a bunch of files are getting dumped to the root of %systemdrive% during integration. I'm not sure how long they've been there or what version started doing it. I've already deleted them but I should have taken a screen shot first. I'll see if 3.0.10 solves it first though. *Edit Here's what I'm talking about (3.0.0.10 used, Win7 x64 host).
  12. 100% true! I'm lucky that where I live the tap water is absolutely delicious. The first time my parents came to visit, they asked for some water. So I went to the fridge and grabbed a 1L bottle I had prefilled earlier from the tap. They said "wow, this brand doesn't taste like the one we get at home; it's better". I said "that's because it's from the tap.
  13. Just tested 3.0.0.9 on Pro XP sp3. It's not the bootscreen thats the problem, it's the login/logoff screen that is still showing "Home". And it's still there.
  14. OK, quick question on 3.0.0.9. On the "Additional Options" step, "Misc" tab; "Enable Resource Translation" option is now greyed out on my XP Pro ENU. Not really a problem since I was disabling that option (English-only sources), but the checkbox is checked and I can't un-check it now. Is this by design? Thanks for all the hard work so far (and the work to come). *Edit, In fact, ALL the options are greyed out on that "Misc" tab...
  15. WTF! I'm trying to figure out why there's a bullet sitting on top of the DVD drive. A purple bullet?
  16. LOL, I understand your frustration! But you're doing a great job here. Keep up the fantastic work.:thumbsup_anim:
  17. Just tested 3.0.0.8 on a fresh XP Pro build and the login screen says Windows XP Home! :crying_anim02: I'll delete all my theme files and try again with fresh downloads. *Edit Confirmed. Pro source results in a "Home" logon/logoff screen. Testing with an MCE build works perfectly fine. Testing with a Home build works perfectly fine.
  18. I showed my HTC Desire to one of the girls at work who owns an iphone 3g. She asked "Ooh, what version of iphone is that? Is that new?" :questionmark:
  19. I heard this on the Linux Outlaws podcast. I laughed so hard I nearly wrecked my car! I had to pull over I was crying/laughing.
  20. LOL, well everything seemed to integrate OK. The WUAUcpl.mui got patched OK so that works. SAV is still bitching about icwconn2.exe though. I set the path as an exclusion and everyone is happy again. Strange.
  21. LOL, testing now... 3.0.0.6a gets stuck in an infinite loop of "3.0.0.6a is available to download. Do you want to update?" Clicking yes results in "downloading **kb of 0kb" then restarts the whole process again. BTW, I like the autoupdating function. Is that new?
  22. Trying 3.0.0.6 now, but Symantec AntiVirus is flagging C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\7Zipsfx.000\Temp\icwconn2.exe as a trojan. After the flag, XPtsp crashed hard with reshacker popping up with the wuaucpl.mui dialog open and locked up the whole machine. Not very cool.
  23. Also, if you're trying to slipstream LOTS of drivers with nlite, nlite will choke. It's not really elegant in how it handles drivers. You REALLY need to slipstream drivers using DriverPacks BASE.
