MWSnap is itself just about 630Kb with English language only, about 920 Kb with a complete install (all langs and uninstall support). http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html Yah, it's not been updated since 2002, but if it works, who cares about the date/time stamp on the files.......

well, something like that would end the endless notepad2 vs. notepad++ debates. Go with one uber pack minus np2/np++. Might also make the creation/maintenance of a standalone exe installer easier.

There appears to be something 'wrong' with the .exe, all kind of install gripes about missing cpl and chm, maybe a bad reference to a cpl.cab in the .ini?

Is the UberPack self-installer (.exe) a dead horse? It was very handy to keep existing systems updated....

and it looks like CPU-Z got updated today too.....

notepad++ was updated to 4.8.1 a few hours ago....

double checked integrating ONLY the uber/notepad addon and then with uber/normal and the separate notpad++ addons. With uber/notepad addon: Integration fails. With uber/normal and separate notpad++ addon, integration suceeds. Off to bed now....

Kels, when I integrate the uber/notepad++ pack all of the other integrations get blown away and I get a munged XP image. The install skips right through t-13..... If I integrate the 'normal' uber pack and your notepad++ as separates, all goes well. T-13 takes about 3 minutes. The only changes I make to my integration is the two flavors of your uber pack. More testing over the weekend to see if I can find the exact problem (including the possibility of bad wetware between the ears). Oh, and any thoughts about tossing that UDI application into the CPL pack? thanks!
