Hallo.
Ik heb deze thread gemaakt voor de discussie over een beta versie van de XP-thema Source Patcher GUI.
Deze beta is bedoeld om de packs te "vertalen" vanuit het Engels naar de taal van het huidige besturingssysteem, via de "live" integratie of voor de cd installatie.
Het "vertalen" word gedaan door het kopiëren van de strings van de originele bestanden en deze te plaatsen in de res files van het pack en deze te hercompileren.
Na wat beperkte tests te hebben gedaan met een Nederlandse kopie van XP, lijkt het succesvol te zijn.
Echter, ik heb mensen nodig van alle talen die verdere tests zouden willen doen! Als u iets ziet wat aangepast moet worden, plaats dan een screenshot in deze thread. post aub alles wat u tegen komt, Ik stel elke vorm van hulp erg op prijs.
Zowel de resources als extras zijn gescheiden van de GUI om de download grootte van de GUI te minimaliseren.
Downloaden van het themapakket en extra pakket nodig zullen zijn om de GUI te kunnen gebruiken.
Let op dat de patcher beheerdersrechten nodig heeft om correct te kunnen werken.
Het taalbestand English.ini moet nog worden vertaald in alle verschillende talen. Als het je wat lijkt dit te vertalen, post het dan alstublieft hier, zodat ik het kan downloaden en deze op kan nemen in de volgende versie.

What's Changed in v2.2.0.2: (included in latest beta)
- Fixed Component Selection code regarding individual items to flag them correctly.
Difference Between v2.999.0.1 and v2.2.0.2:
- Fixed code regarding new page so that it has been functionally removed from the GUI.
- Live Install works properly now.

Actually, I am aware of that bug. That screen isn't supposed to be shown yet, not to mention that the header of the page is WRONG! I am working on the Component Selection code and will release the updated code once that has been fixed. Thanks for the bug report!After choosing the install method the next screen is blank except for "Choose Windows Setup Folder" across the top. That seems pointless to me when the next screen is the same thing :g:

Yeah, I guess.... I was really hoping for a positive or negative response, though..... Something other than silence....
EDIT: I am aware that the Live Install feature of the GUI does not work at this point because I managed to screw up the coding of a new page, which no one can see at this point. I've corrected the error, however, I am putting off releasing this "minor" update until I get some responses to the beta... OR when I manage to get around to rewriting the Component Selection page, which doesn't work as it is supposed to, either.... :shy:

Thank you, ed2000 and Geej! I've uploaded version 2.1 of the add-on, making the correction to the uninstaller and adding the Explosion plugin to the add-on. I was unaware that the Explosion plugin was missing, but I don't think that it was ever included.....

Thank you for reporting this error, Burned! I realized this issue was present after releasing the 2.999.0.0 beta. I think it has something to do with the AutoIt version upgrade, but I'm not sure. This weekend, I am planning on rewriting the Component Selection code to fix this issue. I apologize about the inconvenience....

What's Different Between v2.999.0.0 and v2.2.0.1:
- Translation code has been included and enabled.
- English language file has been updated with new strings for dialog boxes.
- XPtsp.INI has been updated with dialog box line mapping information.
- Theme Downloading restricted to new Green theme only.
- Using older themes with beta GUI will result in notification about older version.
What's Different Between Beta Green Theme and Normal:
- Coordinate information updated based on Fixit's Dutch Green batch version.
- Whenever possible, spacing for dialog box text has been maximized.
- Some text in dialog boxes in SYSSETUP.DLL reverted, but no one will probably ever see them....
If you see any visual problems with the new pack, please report them in this thread. DO NOT report Beta Green theme problems in the Green theme thread!
NOTE: English users will see very little difference between the normal GUI plus normal Green theme and this beta version plus beta Green theme, as the coordinate changes result in minimal visual changes for the English language.

I've opened a new thread for beta version discussion. I've got the first 2.999-series beta working, which will be the predecessor to the version with the much-awaited Translation code. Since the dialog box spacing is a MAJOR issue, I will be asking all beta users to use the newest theme Green_Beta during their testing. This new theme is basically the standard Green theme that has been modified with the coordinate information from the Dutch versions, plus some further adjustments to ensure enough space is present. Once the testing of the new theme is complete, the new coordinate information will be transferred to the other themes.

I inserted the updated 32-Bit AddOn for nLite: 'DriveSpace_v5.3.7.1_AddOn.7z' but nLite shows that this is version v5.3.3.0, It might just be that it is actually up to date but maybe not updated in the 'Entries_DriveSpace.ini' file the download is packaged with.. If so the Entries_in DriveSpace.ini need to be updated to show the correct information.

Updated CAD2009 add-on to v1.1. Replaced 1920x1200.PNG with Background.BMP and updated resizer script to resize the Background.BMP instead of the other file. Turns out changing the file format saves space as well..... Who would have figured?
EDIT: Why did I do this? Well, versions of XPtsp prior to 2.2.0.1 were able to replace the background of my XPtsp-only CAD2009 add-on pretty easily. Version 1.0 of this add-on broke that ability, mandating an update to the CAB/INF combo, hence version 1.1 was released.

Like the first post says, it's basically just the Vista Aero cursors with a few modifications. I've posted the pics from the original thread to show the cursors. The only difference between the SVCPACK add-on version and this add-on is this is a true add-on. (Well, that and the fact that the SVCPACK version isn't available anymore!)Anything new/different/exciting in your new pack Dougie?
Um.... No. But I'm sure you can integrate the two packs together in the same install without conflict. But I won't be adding more cursors to this pack because these cursors are FROM Vista.Any chance of blending the two packs togther?

A question on ViStart, does this work good wth no glitches now? I have been away from XP since 7 and when this was 1st released I had alot of issues with it.

I tried using it on my Windows Vista install. I didn't see any problems, however, there is no right-click functionality that I saw. This may not be the case with Windows XP, however, I doubt it.

I am aware that the XPSP1RES.DLL, XPSP2RES.DLL, and XPSP3RES.DLL files have different names in different XP sources and I think I found a way to deal with that situation a while ago. But if you find any more files with different names, please let me know so I can make the appropriate changes to the GUI! Thanks!
