Windows 8.1 is working fine.
If you get an error message, then your IP has been blocked by MS.
As for Win 7/Office, I suspect that MS is blocking my keys.
I'll wait for another week to see if this is just a temporary issue with the API, and if it doesn't go away, I'll work on out an update to work around MS's latest attempt to withhold Win 7 images from the majority of legitimate owners.
In the mean time, if you need a Dell reinstallation image, follow the instructions in this thread:

Merry Christmas to all!

The downloads API is currently unavailable for any Win 7, Office 2010 and Office 2007 downloads. Both on the MS website and in the download tool, requesting any of these files produces a 715-123130 error (the same error you get when your IP is banned from downloading).
I can't fix the downloader. We have to wait for MS to fix the API. Then the downloader will also resume working.

Do you mean the dropdown is empty?
This issue was reported before, and was solved by installing missing Windows or IE updates.
There's also a workaround to use the arrow keys to select the version. Since you want to update to Win 7, there's really no need to install missing updates. Just use the workaround.

Hi guys,
Windows Vista is no longer supported, but technically, the downloader should be running fine if IE and .NET are up to date. I no longer have a Vista VM, so I can't verify whether this is still the case.
If the downloader shows a blank screen, my best guess would be deactivated TLS 1.2 on OS level (to be re-activated in control panel > internet settings).
If that doesn't do the trick, just say which file(s) you want to have, and I'll generate the link for you (unless someone else is faster).
-
I think you misunderstood. I'd require a key to be able to add Win 7 Home Basic.
I no longer actively search for more keys to add. If you want a particular Windows/Office version to be added to the downloader, you can hunt for a key, and forward it to me.

Hi,
Have a look at this thread:
If none of the solutions given there works for you, I can investigate further.
-
I can add any product key that unlocks a download on this site:
https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/software-download/windows7
(That includes all kind of Win 7 keys, but also various Office versions and applications like Visio.)
Afterwards, the general public can enjoy free downloads.
Unfortunately, most Dell Win 7 keys won't work (although I was given one Dell Win 7 Home Premium key that did unlock the download, which is now included).
Therefore, chances are, your key is not gonna help me.
So I have two ideas for you to try:
1. Grab the Win 7 Home Premium OEM images, and apply the ei.cfg remover to it.
2. Download the reinstallation image with the instructions given here:
-
I'll move your post to the Win 7 forum. Maybe someone there has an idea.
-
I most cases the non OEM download should work fine. Maybe there are some exception cases (geographically restricted versions etc.)
Anyway, the downloader is based on a key database to unlock the downloads (some keys have been donated, some keys I purchased for the database). If you need a particular version of Windows or Office to be added, you may consider donating a suitable key.

Hi Francesco,
This is actually the subforum for the Italian speaking community! :-)
Anyway, I can answer you here.
There are no more 64 bit downloads for Office 2013/2016. MS olnly lets you download "Click-to-Run" versions these days. (Office being "streamed" to your computer, and executed on a tightly integrated VM. Look up Click-to-Run to get some background idea on the kind of dodgy stuff MS is doing there.)
If you want to have a full 32 or 64 bit installer, you've got to configure that yourself with the deployent tool.
I've written some instructions for that here: https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/79-create-an-office-2013,-2016-and-365-offline-installer-with-the-office-deployment-tool
If you have difficulties replicating these steps, please open a new thread in the Office 2016 subforum.

The second downtime came from an automatic server update (Apache, kernel, and some other stuff) that was stuck for unknown reasons...
According to Murphy's Law, these things always happen when I'm not there to do a restart.

Migration was quite bumpy, but everything is back online now. and DNS propagation should also be complete by now (meaning, everyone can access WinCert on the new server - if you don't see this message, then DNS propagation hasn't reached you yet...!!)
-
Version 5.28 (4 December 2017): Added Windows 10 build 17046 (including developer tools); restored original language settings; removed navigation bar.
-
We'll have another try at the server migration TONIGHT. Hope everything will go well this time...
-
Hi,
You could try ebay or amazon. Be aware that extremely cheap keys might be counterfeit.

Dear All,
The migration has been delayed to Thursday 30 November (the day that OVH has announced the domain will be transferred).
We will try to keep the outage as brief as possible.
-
I'm pretty much out of ideas now.
In my vanilla Win 7 VM the downloader works fine.
Have you installed IE11, and applied all relevant Windows updates? Sometimes doing that has fixed issues like this one in the past.

Hi,
Have a look at the following thread:

IPs get banned after generating about 5 to 10 download links, no matter whether you do that through the MS website, or the download tool, or other means.
Just wait 24 hours to be unblocked.
