HI,

tried making a bootable usb but after 3 tries, I still get this message "sorry. an error occurred while 7601.24213.180801-1700.win7sp1_ldr_escrow_CLIENT_HOMEPREMIUM_x64FRE_en-us.iso.Please check the file and try again"

Any one has any idea on how to solve this? Thanks in advance

Yeah, Rufus is a good one to use. If Rufus fail to write the ISO to USB, you better download it again as your one might be corrupt.

Thanks all! It worked perfectly. I made a blunder the first time around with rufus with the file system (I needed to pick MBR). Reinstalled OS no problem. Thanks again.

It's kind of a bad idea to use these iso's. Badly made. Better make your own with simplix updatepack and addons from aboddi.

I agree. I prefer to use rhahgleuhargh's update list though, less updates to integrate as you can use the convenience rollup.
