ccl0 Posted October 3, 2009 Share Posted October 3, 2009 OK, I have tried everything but can't get my CPU to read 3.0G unless I am running a heavy load.Cool N' Quite [Disable/Enable]thats the reason. cool n'q automatically downclocks your processor when it is not being used. then when under heavy load it ramps up the speed. i would not recommend you disable it because why waste all that electricity if you are not using it? also it keeps your computer cooler and your room as well all processors from the last 3 or 4 years have this implementation. intel does as well, but i forget what they call theirs. i think intel even shuts off some of their cores when not in use.. or maybe that is just in their laptop processors Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
