im sorry if im posting in wrong section im new to the forum but i was just wondering what the differences were or the ones that matter in using addons vs the aio silent installs is one better to use than the other???

The differences are that silent installers actually install right before the machine is ready to use. The "addons" are integrated into the install media and are 'pre-installed'. There is not a "right" way to do it, so either way would work depending on the preferences of the person setting up the install media. I myself prefer the silent installers, but I will use "addons" if necessary.

I also prefer the silent installers. One of their advantages is that they can also be applied to an existing running system.

Cheers and Regards
