I thought you would like to know that using the Technet image and doing things in multiple steps everything seemed to work great (even with the aborting message)

Step 1) IE9 + Hotifx - perfect

Step 2) SoLoR 336 updates - perfect

Step 3) 6 SoLoR Additions & 2 Offline updates as manual SFX- perfect

Step 4) 13 addons (see image) - perfect

When I check my event logs and MS update it is exactly what I was hoping for. I will now test the driver packs, some removals and some tweaks. I will also be trying to reduce the number of steps to possibly 1 or 2
