Qué son los Redistributable de Microsoft Visual C++ Cuando hablamos de Microsoft Visual C++, lo estamos haciendo de un entorno de desarrollo integrado (IDE), el cual es utilizado para crear las aplicaciones que posteriormente usaremos en Windows. Para ello se utiliza uno de los lenguajes de programación más usados como es C y C++. Pese a que originalmente se utilizaba como un producto independiente, actualmente se incluye como parte de Microsoft Visual Studio. Este entorno se programación se caracteriza por hacer uso de un gran número de librerías y dependencias que son utilizadas para compilar aplicaciones. Estas permiten a los desarrolladores utilizar código ya desarrollado para realizar procedimientos específicos en lugar de tener que escribir el suyo desde cero. Este código compartido requiere de tener instaladas las librerías y dependencias para poder ejecutarse y en Windows toman forma de biblioteca de vínculos dinámicos (DLL). Posteriormente, una vez que los desarrolladores necesitan implementar su software para los usuarios deben de tomar una decisión. Por un lado, pueden optar por añadir los instaladores de dichas librerías .dll. De esta forma se aseguran de que la aplicación va a funcionar sin problemas. Por otra parte, pueden confiar en un paquete distribuible estándar de código compartido como es Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. De esta forma se cargan dichas dependencias directamente en el sistema, en el caso de que el paquete utilizado durante la programación de la aplicación no existiera, se debe instalar junto a la aplicación. Utilizar los paquetes redistribuibles ofrecen varias ventajas.
