I've edited the forum skin now to match the Blog colors. It looks much better now, just my 2 cents

Dear members and visitors, we have managed to restore the default theme on Wincert forum. If you still have theme issues please respond below. This new version of the forum has an option to change the default view of the forum. Along with the traditional forum index table view, you are now able to change it to display forums as cards in a grid: or Fluid: A simpler dynamic listing topics with a forum filter box. We hope you like the new forum features. Regards, Nik

That explains it. No disrespect to you, but you will learn with age what I am talking about.

Nah, sorry, I don't believe a word. Good person to sell the site to??? What's wrong with you people
-
I understand, but this is not the first time that he said he's going to close the forum. If he doesn't have time for it, why not sell it?
-
It won't be shut down for sure, surely another gimmick. Who would shut down a forum with such a huge database and number of registered members before selling it? Edit: I'm guessing that I was right. Xper just updated the board with the latest IP version. Who would do that a day before closing the forum?
-
Xper, founder of MSFN.org helped me start WinCert.net. Unfortunately, he wasn't replying to my messages lately so I gave up, but I'm sorry to hear that MSFN will close. I can see that the traffic dropped rapidly on MSFN, but I don't understand why isn't he selling it instead of shutting it down completely. I have to say, that I really don't believe that it will be closed for good. It looks like another gimmick to me.

Is it still slow, it is very fast for me? Maybe it was just a temporary issue.

Hi Thiersee, Thibaud de La Villarmois sold Wincert to Jan Krohn as he had to focus on other projects and couldn't attend more time to Wincert. Jan Krohn is now a new owner of Wincert. I will still perform forum administration and maintenance with Jan and I will also continue to write blog articles for WinCert. Forum will be slightly changed in order to boost the forum activity. We're currently discussing these upcoming changes in our staff lounge forum. Regards, Nik

TBH I've never heard about this game before :(. I play only World of Tanks occasionally.

I've just tried to change the password with my test account and it's working fine. Can you please try to change the password using a different browser?

Seems everything is working fine.

windows 2003 and 2012 R2 domain controller
NIM replied to Joseph Varghese's topic in Microsoft Windows Server Family
You can't raise the functional level of a domain if you still have Windows 2003 domain controllers in that domain. -
I had this issue at one of my clients. Probably "IsShortcut" string value for LNK filetype is missing in Windows Registry which could be removed by a Virus. Open regedit and navigate to the following key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Lnkfile In right pane, right-click on empty area and select New -> String Value option. Name it IsShortcut. Close Registry Editor and restart your machine.

how can i hide my profile from search engines?
NIM replied to MrIbraQdbra's topic in Site and Forum Issues
You can't, but thanks for this. We might disable that board wide. -
that other RAM might be incompatible with your laptop. The best bet is to go to the hardware store and let them install and test the RAM before you buy it.

Yeah, social networks are more and more popular, although I would call myself and old fashion. I still like the forums more and I am also not using social networks

Dear visitors, forum has been upgraded to the latest version of IPB. This version brings full support for php 7 and you should notice speed improvement when browsing the forums. Please report any bugs in this topic. Nim

Thx for reporting mooms. I have opened a ticket regarding this issue. Nik

Does that mean I was a bad admin?

If I remove ei.cfg afterwards do I have an AIO-Version with Updated included?
NIM replied to revnu's topic in Win Toolkit
you have posted in the wrong forum -
IPS don't have that in plan. The only solution would be a plug-in which isn't available for now..
