My laptop is just like this, under XP it's 128, under Vista it goes to 320MB

Doesn't bother me though, I can just say I have a video card with 320MB

I love XP, but I really like Vista now. Before, I honestly hated it. But now that I have been using it as my main OS, I really like it now.

I haven't had any security problems, I actually find Vista is more stable. But, I think it's because it's the OS this laptop came with. My desktop was made for XP, therefor it runs XP.

I been using it on my laptop now for about 2 months or however long I have had it, and it's been fine. It's slow, I'll admit, but I really like it. It runs very well.

[Nero 7 Installation problem]

If you can't get to go, try installing Nero 7 lite. The download file is 12mb and you can use your existing Nero 7 cd key to install it. It just has the Nero burning rom with nothing else. Really good IMO. Less stuff to install.

Good post, I just do the standard quick format in the install for Windows.

On the other hand, I'd never even contemplate buying/selling a used HDD because of security.

If your willing to do so, get a G-Mail account, that works 100% with Windows Mail, I can vouch for this as I have 2 G-Mail accounts in Windows Mail and they both work.
