    Welcome to WinCert
  3. So far 7 is running pretty good, it's so much better than Vista. I am running at around 650mb of RAM so I do need to get it up to 2G. Iam not sure I like 7's quick launch, but I think I just need to get used to it. So far so good though, oh I got an error trying to install DotNet 3.5, at 12:00am,I was to tired to even bother researching it.
  4. LMAO. I plead the 5th
  5. Yeah, When I had XP on it I would 10% in 2 minutes. I have Win7 now, but I have been keeping it plugged in. so I am not sure if it runs the same with the new power options. I still haven't did any research on that issue since this will be used as a desktop.
  6. Thanks for the info. I am not a big fan of laptops but you can't beat free. LOL. Hope fully I can sell this for enough to build a decent system.
  7. Thanks
  8. Did you know Micheal Jackson was 87% plastic, they are going to melt him down and make Lego's out of him. That way kids can play with him for a change.
  9. I plan on it, but I have to get money 1st. I have to 512's so I will need to get 2*1G's. This laptop kind of fell into my hands, I didn't pay for it.
  10. Man is a great to have a computer and not a large calculator. LMAO. I got a HP Pavilion dv6324us Notebook PC yesterday. As always it is impossible to get XP drivers for these Vista made systems. I have install Windows 7 Build 7229. I will be installing software etc. today, I hope 7 lives up to the hype. System Specs are in the SIG.

  14. The 1st and last boot screen. Do you have a site of your modded files?
  15. I am unfortunately going to have to say XP since I can't run 7. But from what I saw above about 7 I am going to cry now. LOL
  16. Do you have links to DL these boot screens
  17. Yes, more info would help. Not sure what you are asking.

I have never installed from a USB, but technically, Your XP install source on the USB should have most of the XP files on it. You should be able to copy that file from a XPCD and replaced the corrupt/missing file on your USB. Again, I am not sure because I have no ideal how the source is built on your USB but replacing that file on your USB with the same file from a XPCD should work.

I have no ideal how to install XP from USB, I wish I did but I have never took the time out to do the research. I would think that all you would have to do is redo your USB files or just replace the file on your USB source.

  21. I have no ideal what you are talking about, sorry. Are you making a XPCD? Or are you trying to make a image of the your installed XP. I am sure others will need more info as to what program your using etc.
  22. Unfortunately due to my large calculator. LOL, I am only using XP Pro (Modded of course).
  23. I am a fan of NOD also. I have done test with NOD, Zone Alarm and AVG. I also thought NOD as more PC friendly.
