  1. good, now i don't have to mess with the german version anymore
  2. windowblinds is not free though styler toolbar, however, is free http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/windows/stylertool/
  3. i've noticed that the box is there for the ip-duo skin, but not the wincert professional skin
  4. 1920 x 1200 resolution on a 15in screen will make your eyes bleed. the font will be super tiny. actually EVERYTHING will be super tiny so unless you have REALLY good eyes i would not recommend that one. hmm i didn't read the entire thing before posting. looks like you already know that heh. oh and firegl is a workstation card, which you may or may not get much use out of.. i guess you could say the hd3650 is more for the general population.
  5. i'd hate for that info to be lost. thats why i suggested making a consolidated sticky. it would clean up the clutter but still have the info available for people to see. i think most people won't look past the second page, so if it sinks below that then it might get lost. unless people know what to search for.. but then what happens if someone new that doesn't know about it comes to the forum? they won't know it exists
  6. or maybe make a forum for x64 addons. that would move two pinned topics or just make a forum for all of kel's stuff he's got 4 pinned things up there lol not sure if he would like that idea though
  7. the page is now up to 9 "pinned" topics + the announcement topic http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?/forum/88-wpi-nlite-and-rvm-addons/
  8. background change is better than how it was previously
  9. the recent status update box is missing. it used to be right above the updates but now there is no box to input text http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/3517/sadk.jpg
  10. i disagree with that http://www.anandtech...spx?i=3650&p=13 proves otherwise the HD5850 is pretty good all around in temp and power consumption.
  11. i'm perplexed by that comment, because you make it seem like that is a bad thing. but it does not stay like that all the time. it downclocks the cpu when it is not needed. think about all those people who leave their computers on overnight. all that power being wasted just sitting idle
  12. thats the reason. cool n'q automatically downclocks your processor when it is not being used. then when under heavy load it ramps up the speed. i would not recommend you disable it because why waste all that electricity if you are not using it? also it keeps your computer cooler and your room as well all processors from the last 3 or 4 years have this implementation. intel does as well, but i forget what they call theirs. i think intel even shuts off some of their cores when not in use.. or maybe that is just in their laptop processors
  13. its a parody about the site. for some reason wincert forum has a picture of the earth. wincert says it is windows certified, so i changed it to the old windows 3.11 logo and they have a catchy phrase "you bet", so i came up with my own catch phrases. and instead of the earth i made it uranus, which is much funnier to say. ur-anus
  14. i know its a little late, but i designed a few logos for the forums as well. let me know what you think
  15. nooooo..... you took away my beloved Cleancut theme professional is too bright, ip-duo is too dark.. Cleancut was just perfect :crying_anim02:
  16. no antivirus software is 100% accurate. you will never find one that is. here is a comparison of av programs 1-10 11-20
  17. could have been some false positives
  18. i'm a big fan od nod32 myself. it didn't seem to adversely effect my system performance and had a low memory footprint. however, it seems like with every new version the memory usage has gone up a little. i think version 2 used less than 20mb ram. ver 3 used less than 50. this is unofficial testing, just what i noticed in task manager. i'm interested in trying out this one from m$
  19. you're quick. i was just about to post this
  20. i'm not sure if something changed since i last checked here, but i just tried the ctrl+f5 thing and now the full editor is working properly
  21. no it might only work with making new topics or posts? but if i try to edit a previous topic that i made before.. i get this http://img27.imagesh.../3681/hmm3w.jpg i'm unable to edit my topic title (which i believe was a main difference between regular editor and full editor) seems like its missing the attachments section too. and.. some other misc things
  22. bad news. full editor still doesn't work for me. i never noticed this before, but my use full editor button is light blue w/o even pressing it. is it suppose to be dark blue like the save changes button or a light blue? i know this may sound strange but its almost as if the button is stuck lol edit: i just discovered something. at the bottom of this topic theres the fast reply box. http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/4054/hmm2.jpg i just tried clicking on the full editor and was taken here http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/8823/hmmsf.jpg
  23. i just tried this suggestion.. sadly it does not work for me mine was on by default, so i disabled it. no change with being able to use the full editor. then i re-enabled it..but no change :crying_anim02:
  24. hey N1K, i was able to fix that issue with the links not being displayed properly. i went and followed these directions http://www.dq.winsila.com/internet/how-to-restore-firefox-aboutconfig-default-settings.html because of a hunch i had, and afterward things went back to normal. unfortunately the problem with the full editor still remains. i also tried to use the full editor in google chrome and got the same thing (press the button but nothing happened)
