Thanks for the answer - looks like an easy solution will not happen.

It's been two months - any information or comments on progress on integrating SP1 using the Win7 Toolkit? I, for one, have been hoping success is close to being achieved.

I burned a DVD using the most recent donload from Microsoft's download site - all files/folders had same date/time stamp as previously posted downloads. Seems Microsof is posting stuff that has not changed in months even though the size of the downlaod is different.

WAIK now posted at Microsoft downloads is listed as version 3.0 and is a larger download - maybe it now includes the supplement.

Downloaded it and tried it from within Win7 32-bit and 64-bit - started OK in both - no error messages.

Both running Windows 7 - that means Homegroup was installed by default on each system - you already have the newtork installed. Just check Homnegroup help and the info is there.

Clicked on link to download - taken to RapidShare page to create an account and then to upload files/programs - is this correct? In the past I was taken to a page to download - and to wait if not a RapidShare member - did somethign change? Later the same day: Booted into XP Pro x64 w/SP2 using IE8 64-bit. This time the RapidShare page switched from creating an account to showing the download was available and that the free would take time to allow access; but the download worked. Can only assume some kind of issue during previous attempt from within XP Pro w/SP3 and IE6. Glitch or gremlin in cyberspace? Don't know but I figured I'd post the info just in case.

Downloaded Win7 Toolkit 0.8.0.29RC. Used 7ZIP to extract to location of previous version. Started program, everything appeared to be OK except at Programs tab; 7z9.16 x64 (Beta) and 7z9.16 x86 (Beta) shown in bold - problem is I have both of these items installed in their respective Win7 32-bit or 64-bit locations: \Program Files\7-ZIP - assuming there is some kind of detection issue.

Win7 Toolkit 0.7.0 > Driver Packs - the 32- bit list is not up-to-date when compared to the Driver Packs that are posted at their forum. Many at Driver Packs are 1008 versions.

DirectX June 2008 redistributable was released yesterday.
