All downloads need a product key.
-
Hi,
Please either use the image for Inspiron 5585, which is likely identical, or send your service tag.

I'm not sure that my license key will work with the TechG version but I will test this solution if this version is available in French before a normal version
Yes, the key will work. For some languages, the downloads are even identical. (It has been discussed here before, maybe one or two years ago.)

Oh, no! I have downloaded 54% and link has expires! :C
Ohhh
I always thought MS would add a grace period for such cases. Looks like they've become stricter.

How about #00cd00? Or how about bold font? Or how about some prefix like "[✓] ..."?
I'll see what's easily possible. Bootstrap used to be qite restrictive about what's possible in dropdown boxes, but I've made that interface a long time ago, and many new Bootstrap features have been introduced since back then.

Office 2010 Pro Plus is done for this month. Next chance on 1 December.
Office H&S is still open. If you check twice per day, I'm sure you'll get yor download before the end of the week. Don't forget to also check the TechG version.

So Microsoft has decided to treat all messages coming from WinCert as severe spam, not even placing them into the users' spam folder, but not delivering them to their inboxes at all.
Sorry about the inconvenience.
I've just created a second support ticket with MS to re-iterate that this is actually an urgent issue. Let's hope they will react to this one (maybe before the end of year.......)

Q: I'm experiencing one of the following symptoms:
- After selecting a software version, everything grays out and freezes.
- I'm receiving the popup message "ERROR. Please check your internet connection."
- I'm receiving an error message in the status bar.
A: This is your local connection issue, and can have a number of root causes:
-
You have modified your HOSTS file. Please remove the following two lines.
0.0.0.0 aa.online-metrix.net
0.0.0.0 c.bing.com
- You have installed software that prevents scripts from modifying secure websites, such as certain adblockers, firewalls, privacy tools or similar security related software.
-
You have disabled TLS 1.2 in your internet settings. You can enable it again in the control panel in the
Internet Options
category. - In rare cases, starting the tool as administrator can resolve the issue.
- In rare cases, installing the latest Windows updates, or updating Internet Explorer or the .NET framework to the latest version can resolve the issue.
-
Now that sounds like an improvement. Congratulations! I've spoken with many frustrated Office users over the years, and this is the first time I've heard that MS actually helped someone with this kind of issue.
I know which company you've been in touch with. I did make a branded version for them. They did seem very customer-oriented when I worked with them. I'm glad to hear they're growing. They fully deserve that.
I used to have Office 2013 Pro Plus (from Technet), and can confirm that phone activation works. I haven't used the licenses for some years, so according to your information, they should be toast now. Maybe I should try installing and activating...
Anyway, MS did manage to get me to subscribe to Office 365 about a year ago. I use almost all the Office components regularly, so I'd either need Office 2019 Pro Plus or Office 365. And the cost of Office 2019 Pro Plus is just completely ridiculous.
-
With all the pirated licenses available everywhere on the web these days, I really do wonder how MS can afford screwing customers who have properly purchased their product. Once again, their customer service is beyond the pale. (Of course their aim is to sell another Office 365 subscription...)
Anyway, we need to get your Office 2013 back up and running.
The downloads available through the tool are all based on the click-to-run technology. My understanding of the architechture is not perfect, but sufficient enough that there can't be any "hidden exe" since the Office runs as a virtual instance.
So we need to find you an MSI installer. MSDN doesn't have it. As far as I know there were never any retail discs that could have it. So the only chance would be getting hold of an OEM installation disc for Office 2013 Pro. I can see a few of them on ebay, but I suspect you don't want to spend another 200 to 300 Euro. The MS OEM partner portal could be an option, but you need to find someone who has access, and would help you for a small bakshish, like a local computer dealer.
Or you can go back to that useless MS support, and keep pressing them until they escalate the issue at least to second level support. Office 2013 is still in extended support, so legally they have to fix the problem. You're entitled to use it and receive customer support until 2023. It's in the EULA. It's a legally binding contract for MS too.

Hi!
Is there a chance to download Windows 7 Professional SP1 English? Are the ISO files under "Windows 7" category the latest updates of the OS?
Win 7 will be back on 1 November.
The August 2018 upgrade edition is the lastest, however, there's mixed opinion about it...
-
They're not on MSDN. I'd suspect that the LPs haven't changed since May.
-
Unfortunately, the language packs are not available for public download.
However, MS did release an image with all the CAB files on MSDN, which has somehow found its way to the public, however, linking directly to it would cause legal implications.
If you pick the hash from our hash dump, google for it, and follow through to Twitter, and from the link in the Tweet to a Russian download site, that will get you what you want.

As far as I know that depends on the license that's attached to the device you're installing.
You can override the automatic choice of edition by adding the file ei.cfg to your installation medium. If you install from USB, that should be straightforward. If you install from DVD, not so much...
-
No, they're different. Both on the heidoc website and in the app, the Office 365 downloads come at the bottom of the Office 2019 downloads list.

si descargo la actualización nueva pierdo la licencia antigua? es decir la que viene en el portátil
No.
54 minutes ago, manuel21 said:y al actualizar se borrara todo lo que tengo o no se borra ningún archivo ni programa?
Usually no, but it happened many times in the past due to faulty updates.
-
Which editions do you mean? Retail and OEM? Windows 7 and Windows 7 August 2018? Both differences have been explained many times.
As for language options, as far as I remember, there were no such settings to change the language for Win 7 and Office 2010
-
Correct. After installation, all updates up and including January 2020 will download. If you do that on the original SP1 installation, it will take ages to complete though.
For the freezing app issue, you can look up the solution in the FAQ.

Microsoft's API always returns the same list of hashes, no matter which file is requested. Therefor, in most cases, the info is no good, or even harmful, when users believe their file is corrupt, when in reality it isn't.
All hashes can be copeid from the hash dump too:

No, no... these hashes are going to be removed or hidden. In most cases they provide false information.
(The screen elemen is quite persistant though and just doesn't want to be removed. Once that's done, a new version will come out immediately.)
For verification of the download, click on the orange disc shaped icon ("ISO tools"), and when it asks you to calculate the hash, choose "yes".
-
It's not publicly available. I've updated the hash dump, so you can look for an untouched download elsewhere:

A quick research on Google revealed that the file is available via torrent. (Please be aware that downloading torrents is illegal in some legislations.)

It includes SP1, updates, new Internet Explorer and .NET Frameworks. There is no SP2.
As of January, end users no longer receive updates. Installing the 2018 update won't change that.

Version 8.41 (17 November 2020): Added Windows 10 Update 20H2; added new Insider and developer versions up to build 20262; added more DELL models and images; removed unsupported DELL models and images; added green check () to available Windows 7 and Office 2010 downloads; fixed issues in Romanian localization; removed table with hashes from download screen.
Images for the following Dell models have been removed (either partially or completely):
Images from the same product lines are probably identical. I currently don't know why Dell removed those downloads. They can probably be added back if someone provides a working service tag.
