  1. I've never used a laptop with a RAID setup, so I may not help you with this issue, but if you plan to install fresh Windows XP installation, here's what you should do...(at least that's the case with PC's, not sure if it applies on laptops with RAID as well. Aquire the WinXP RAID drivers for your laptop from manufacturers web site (you'll need an external USB floppy unit, so you can install those drivers during the first stage of Windows installation. You'll have to press F6 when needed. I know that IBM laptops have a hidden partition that can be only deleted with some third party tools like Partition Manager. These hidden partitions holds Windows pre-install that you got licenced when buying laptop. If that's the case with Dell too, you will install new OS (WinXP) and you'll still have that hidden partition if you later decide to try Vista again..
  2. that's a good idea! :thumbsup_anim:
  3. Yes, Aliens will probably dance on Beatles songs
  4. Totally agree with you mate.. We have a huge number of members that come here to download addons and other stuff, while they don't care for other people's time and knowledge spent for making these addons. Not to mention the site expenses. But what can we do, we can be happy that we have community of daily active members which we consider as family.. Cheers..

  13. I need to make a script that will connect through SSH with Putty or WinSC application to a server which is in Germany. Basically, one server is in Croatia and another is in Germany. When I make a connection to that server, I need to copy contents of one folder to Germany and back. What is the best way to do that with Putty or WinSC. A log would be also needed for this..

  19. That's not an option, you're accessing your host machine just a any other machine in your LAN, by using UNC path to the share or admin share.
  20. Only in the way that you connect to your host machine by the means of network.
  21. I had cracks in sound when I was copying something over the network. I thought it was a sound card or network card and I couldn't find the 'cause for a long time. Then I realized it was a RAID0. It may sound unbelievable but when I've reinstalled my PC without using RAID, there was no cracks anymore..
