I don't think that Vista rating is a real index of your machine performance. For instance I have a Corsair DHX XMS2 DDR2 Dual Channel at 800MHz and by Vista rating this memory has the lowest score of all my components Your laptop is a real beast and I wouldn't worry about some Vista rating..

Well, it seems that the new server we're planning to move on has better ping. The question is now does it have good hardware as the one we're currently using has.. We're getting more and more visits daily and silver hosting package isn't sufficient for us now. We'll have to move for the gold package before we move on.

I was using it on my old computer. It was a RAID0 (stripe set) 2 disks used as physical disk. After my RAID became corrupted and I couldn't get my data back, I've decided not to use it anymore.. I haven't noticed a big performance difference between RAID and non-RAID setup. I think the performance increases only 12% with the RAID0 setup (stripe set of course).
