The extra source is in the "tools and resources" codebox "Extra" Visual Basic/C runtimes installer sources http://adf.ly/1713566/vbcsource @mail4skwarka I suspect its not extra but a MSI that is causing your problem, uninstall all vc runtimes before you attempt to install these

I do it, most hotfixes are LDR only anyway

There is a create remover checkmark, if you dont get one then you dont have any updates that need removing

Yes you can delete the msu files I like to extract my updates because they take up less disk space

Sorry, but computer troubles KUC will create a remove_old.cmd with the correct cmd line for offline removal (if you run KUC in offline mode) What about LDR did you want to know?

So I been having problems with my HDD freezing, its a: 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 (desktop sized) I updated the firmware and now the problem is worse (or finally clear, because I did not get the SMART error before fw update.) I notice allot of people having similar problems with this drive On boot I get a SMART error saying I should back up and replace drive, press F1 to continue...In AIDA64 it also shows up (I also get a Windows error message) Does anybody know a cheap way of maybe fixing the problem, other than replacing the disk (cant afford one and I cant do this either )
