  1. Unless you made a database backup before applying the update, which is a good practice.
  2. Basically it would take a single user and repeat them in the MySQL database. If you've seen Star Wars ep 2, The Clone Wars... ..it's like that. Imagine an army of 10,000 MGadAllah's in your MySQL database.
  3. Their members only section has been littered with issues. A lot of people had self replicating members in the database.
  4. Thanks N1K.
  5. I used to use FF when referring to Firefox until I learned that the correct way is Fx.
  6. Regardless if some prefer to use FF to say Firefox, it's not correct and the issue has been addressed by Mozilla on numerous occasions. I prefer to be correct with terminology so people know what is being referred to. At this link FAQ 8 clearly states that it is Fx or fx. If the issue is occuring in safe mode of Fx then a complete clean reinstall should resolve the issue. This means getting rid of both the Program Files Firefox directory and the one in Documents and Settings.
  7. Yep, just spreading education for the masses. Check out number eight in the FAQ.
  8. What is this FF everyone speaks of? I see a discussion about Firefox, and then FF. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/releases/1.0.6.html#FAQ It sounds like an extension problem. Try running Firefox in safe mode "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode How many tabs are you using? I saw it was asked but never answered. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 - Build ID: 2008032620 - 36 tabs @ 77,500 K mem usage reported by Task Manager.
  9. A few that I recall that were common were things like going to the last read post and several common functions relating to that. I'd have to check the MSFN forum area for other issues though.
  10. People have had a lot of problems on MSFN caused by the CommunitySEO module. It's more trouble than it's worth...

Unfortunately AVG is very hard for a lot of users to configure. Does it prompt you or just delete the files?
  12. Do you have a firewall installed? If so, which one?
  13. Bleach is supposed to be good.
  14. Cain and Able will work best unless you just want to reset it as I mentioned above.
  15. I personally just use Notepad++ which allows you to add a context menu shortcut for opening files with it. Extremely handy.

    You no rike my Engrish?
  17. I'm no expert for Addons, but I wouldn't think you'd need to add the prefetch files. Windows will automatically generate prefetch files.
  18. Sorry, none that I know of.
  19. Have you tried running Dial-a-fix? It helps repair Windows Updates issues which includes BITS. You can also try, rundll32.exe setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 C:\WINDOWS\inf\qmgr.inf There is also the option of updating your BITS to 2.5 (it will be included in Service Pack 3).
  20. What did you do to optimize the database, just run the Optimize feature in MySQL?
  21. They don't seem to care.
  22. Just wondering, but why would you want to install this adware? Many say it's spyware, but it's technically adware. - Source
  23. Needs Windows logos.
  24. Lol it's Simon! Literally! Side by side:
  25. @rick Sounds like it would be both in a logo and act as a mascot. People have been talking about the character in them which is "Fella" and variations thereof. Trust me, they (deviantArt) are extremely anal when it comes to copyrights.
