  2. i have a netgear one. its never let me down yet. i think linksys is pretty decent too. i've heard not so good things about belkin and d-link
  3. according to this chart http://www.av-comparatives.org/images/stories/test/ondret/avc_report24.pdf it comes in at #5. i guess not too bad for something that is free
  4. you can look at a topic i made on another forum regarding netbooks. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=330467
  5. this might be a strange question, but how hard would it be to make some skins for the forum? is it just a matter of following a template or is there some coding involved? i had an idea it might be fun to try to make one
  6. i searched for syspacker and 99% of results were from warez sites. is this a legit program?

It incorporates an internal resource script compiler and decompiler and works on Win95, Win98, WinME, WinNT, Win2000 and WinXP operating systems. whats changed: :now decompiles/compiles 64-bit executables :added PNG image support more info: http://angusj.com/resourcehacker/ download link: here
  10. i noticed this one late. you can only get it free from nov 27-29 You must register to get free serial. Note that the Special Edition has no 64-bit support http://www.paragon-s...e/giveaway.html here is the registration link http://www.paragon-s...on/td-2010.html
  11. how much difference in battery life (on average) do you notice?
  12. this reminds me of all those 'memory booster' software that companies used to come out with. i seriously can't see something like this making a significant difference. found a review http://www.gamepyre.com/reviews/games/pc/1115_1.html according to that author he got 1-5 frames better with it than without. and from this picture http://images.betanews.com/screenshots/1239033313-1.png it seems like it mainly disables some services (freeing up more ram) which i suspect is probably the cause for the slight increase in frames.
  13. i really like the art of it
  14. i found this article today. might be useful for some people http://www.usbtalk.net/2009/09/recovering-broken-unformattable-and-ghost-usb-flash-drives/
  15. only problem with translation programs is they are not very grammatically correct. so i'm kind of wondering how they plan on translating it if they don't know multi-languages
  16. i really like the yellow one the most. its the only one that looks like it uses two colors. yellow, and orange for the grid. the others are blue/blue, purple/purple etc
  17. here is another one i found http://wross59.deviantart.com/art/Mario-Bros-bootscreen-143599490 pic is kind of tiny though, but it seems kinda neat
  18. the "cleaning trash" one seems odd. you sure it's suppose to be the word cleaning?
  19. would you consider putting all that info in a spoiler box? technically not a spoiler but its the only way i know that puts all the info into a drop down box to compress the original post. (without spaces) [ spoiler ] tag to the start and [ / spoiler ] at the end of the text will make it look like this tada!
  20. WinStyle Moonlight looks pretty :giveheart: oh and i find it impressive all these people from different countries are transcending language barriers to try to create this translation project :beerchug:
  21. he makes it seem so effortless
