  1. Version 8.14 (24 May 2019): Downloads for Windows 7 and Office 2010 now every Wednesday; renamed Windows 10 April 2019 Update to Windows 10 May 2019 Update; added Insider and developer versions up to build 18898 added Office 2019 for Mac build 16.25; updated to jQuery 3.4.1; new Facebook logo.

  2. I'm still assessing the damage. In any case, a new version will be out before the end of the week. As of next week, download generation will be reset at 00:00 GMT every Wednesday, and download links generated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Like that users will at least know when they have a chance to get their downloads.

  3. Unfortunately Microsoft has blocked the ISO downloader again from generating any links for Windows 7 and Office 2010.

The tool uses a collection of product keys that generate the download links in the background. After the latest change, Microsoft allows one key to be used only about once per week. With a download link valid for only 24 hours, this is no longer enough to provide a meaningful number of downloads.

With the end of life of Win 7 and Office 2010 on the horizon in less than one year, the provision of download links for these products will therefore phase out. For the time being, we will continue to provide whatever links we are able to generate with the keys we have. However, we will no longer purchase more keys to increase the available number of downloads. (Key donations are still welcome though.)

    Current alternatives:

    • Windows 7 August 2018 Update (available through the ISO downloader, currently only in English)
    • Windows 7 Professional DELL edition (multilingual, available through the ISO downloader, and working fine on non-DELL systems as well)
    • Torrents and file sharing sites (since this option is not legal, please don't share links here in the forum. To confirm authenticity of illegal downloads, you can use our hash database).
  4. The Windows 10 image doesn't fit on a regular disc. You'll need at least a double layer disk to make a physical Win 10 disc, which makes the whole thing already expensive.

I've been using Nero for all such tasks as long as I can remember. It's a good tool, however, it's not free.

  5. Version 8.12 (27 April 2019): Added Windows 10 April 2019 Update (placeholder for now *); added Visio Standard 2010 TechG; added Office 2019 for Mac build 16.24; updated to jQuery 3.4.0; added help button and Instagram button to side navigation.

    * images will be available the second that MS uploads them to the public server.

1903 ISOs have been recently released to MSDN subscribers TH April 18

    https://www.neowin.net/news/the-windows-10-may-2019-update-is-now-available-on-msdn

don't know if Windows ISO Downloader tool can obtain these from MSDN as someone recently asked in another forum

1903 MCT pulled until late May public release

Interesting that my MSDN crawler didn't find them... I need to check whether it's still working properly...

Anyway, the ISO downloader currently doesn't allow for MSDN downloads. It's on my research list, but I first need to review whether passing download links to other users would be covered by the MSDN terms and conditions, and secondly find a way to fund the $6,000 MSDN subscription.

  7. Good idea, but it will kill this message on all previous versions, and display some error code instead. I'll need to think it through how to do a smooth transition without causing an increase in forum posts "what is this strange code supposed to tell me"...
