      Hello Wincert forum members,
I have been a long time on/off user of various versions of Windows XP (modded, and stock OEM...as a PC OS hobbyist...),and have run into a problem i was hoping some Wincert IT types could help me to successfully accomplish....
that being said,i am looking for a way to install a few 3rd party freeware (yes...freeware...not nagware, freemiumware, nor trialware)apps during the last 13 minutes or less of Windows XP GUI Mode...so would anyone one know how the syntax for nLite runonce (gui runonce??)options or another way to install my apps silently, and before windows xp setup launches XP desktop settings???
I have recently "noticed",and "noted" that Windows XP has not been supported since year 2014...and that i no longer can find the MSFN unattended XP guide online(if anyone has a "link" to the MSFN XP unattended guide in PDF format...would like a "valid" link in your reply...; )
Thanks in advance for any,all replies to this thread...

Let me preface this post by saying I am a "hobbyist"...that likes to customize windows xp os for my own pleasure so to speak...
I have been having issues with nLite creating an unattended XP distribution;specifically problems of getting the nLied XP setup to run a custom new style billboard during gui-mode setup phase....I have had success(luck??),however, after using windows unattended cd creater "beta" utility getting the previous nLited XP distro to run the new style billboard screen during gui mode setup so what I need to know is which setup system files enable (or disable) the running of winntbbu.dll (or winntbba.dll...)...?_?
If any IT/ techies can help me with this issue, please reply at your convenience...

      Hey there,
I've just registered, because I haven't found an answer to the following question:

If I integrate updates to an install.wim. with WinToolkit, do I really have to do it for all images "separately" ?

Or can I only integrate them to the "Ultimate" image?

I mean, the files that are used by the setup from the install.wim are the same for every version (home, home prem, usw...) aren't they?

BTW: It's really an awesome tool!

      THX
      &
      Greetings

Hello all, I am looking to slipstream vista sp2 into my existing iso. I have tried all other programs including vlite but I am unsuccessful win tool kit is my last hope.

I have set up my own computer repair business and am building up All in One operating systems. I have successfully made a Win7 x86 and x64 iso with all versions and updated it with all latest updates and from this site integrated framework 4.5 with the help of abbodi1406 post.

The Vista install ISO I am using has all versions for x86 with SP1. You enter the serial for the required version and it installs it appropriately making it invaluable for fixing clients computers or as I have recently started doing refirbising laptops and will be branding and tweaking the operating system for maximum performance for the client.

No other install ISO out there can do this that has SP2 and so I am left with this one (Unless you know otherwise). I downloaded and extracted the SP2 and tried both cabs...

      windows6.0-kb955430-X86.cab
      windows6.0-kb948465-X86.cab

however only the first one is registered which is only 4.1MB.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can anyone tell me if they're having problems viewing the Official RMV Integrator Manual from the official website? Because when I click on the tabs to read the different sections, they all appear empty to me.

It's weird, because I could read it fine a few weeks ago. And I tried viewing it through both Firefox and Opera, both updated to the latest versions. I also have Java and Flash plugins updated to the latest versions, so I don't see how it could be anything on my end...
