Version Number Change

Recommended Posts

I've decided to change the version numbers to make life easier for me.

If you go to the 'About' tab, you will see the build number, at the minute it is currently because it's the 17th test released. Everywhere else in the program you will just see '1.4.29'

Any questions about the new version change?

The first two are major released, such as: 0.1.x.x, 0.2.x.x, 0.5.x.x, 0.6.x.x, 0.7.x.x, 0.8.x.x, 1.0.x.x, 1.3.x.x, 1.4.x.x. Usually there's some big changes in between those increments. Better UI, speed improvements, etc..

The second part x.x.29.x is just general releases such as bug fixes, minor improvements, etc...

The last part which you won't really see is x.x.x.18 is mostly used for test builds.
