Microsoft releaseed another update that comes with ads
A new Windows 11 optional preview update (non-security) was released this month marked as KB5023778.
This update comes with two notable features that Insiders previously tested. The first one includes improving the taskbar which now features a lighter search bar while complementing Windows’ custom color modes.
The second update again another set of Microsoft ads.
As spotted by Twitter user @thebookisclosed (Albacore) the new start menu now features links to back up your files using OneDrive. This feature could roll out to everyone soon as part of Patch Tuesday next month since it has been tested for some months now.
Do we really need to stuff OneDrive promos in the user session flyout? Anything for that sweet sweet KPI 😭 pic.twitter.com/ZsQGmkntDS

As you might know, this is not the first time the Redmond giant tried to insert its ads to Windows users. Just last month, several users reported different M365 ads from Windows 11 upgrade.
It appears that Microsoft’s ads could get a permanent place in the Windows operating system soon and the latest KB5023778 confirms that.
