Hi, Now Windows 7 is no longer available for download from this tool (Windows ISO Downloader.exe v5.29) Microsoft only allows those users who have retail Windows 7 key to download a copy from their site. Whatever Windows 7 ISO now MS offers for download, (or even when it was working thru this tool) is it same as Windows 7 SP1 that was available on DigitalRiver site? Does anyone have any idea if MS has made further changes to it like incorporation of roll-up updates etc? If I download Windows 7 now from MS will it be same as what it was on Digital River then? so i had all updates for my windows 7 ultimate iso in one directory, both msu and cab files. but thanks to one misplaced punctuation mark in a cleanup script i managed to delete everything on the drive containing that folder. i could retrieve most of my data with a recovery program, but some files, including all my updates, was retrieved as null byte files with scrambled filenames i have some iso images with the wim containing all my updates, is it possible to retrieve the updates from my wim images? or is there some log containing the KB numbers created from dism when i installed them? the updates was installed with WinToolkit i think. i don't know if it leaves a…

Has anyone else had problems with the gadgets? I typically run a weather gadget and a system monitor gadget and recently it started showing red "X"s like IE does when it can't find a picture file. The gadgets WORK but everywhere on it where it's looking for a picture file, it shows up as the dreaded red "X". It seems like somehow the location for the picture files has changed and the gadgets system can't find the files but I haven't changed my computer drive letters or anything. Hi All, Have a minor issue with my autounattend.xml file in as far as I don't get to see the Install Windows 7 Now screen with the repair option towards the bottom left corner. All I do get is which disk to install it to. I even disable that when running a test in VBox. I didn't realise until the other day when I could have done with doing a repair install that I didn't have that option (got round it by renaming the autounattend file on my usb). Could someone pass an eye over my autounattend file and tell me which 'string' I need to disable? So i merge my 32x and 64x install.wim to a single file using the great program WinToolkit and everything is working fine. But if i use the 32x folder to put the new install.wim with the 32x and 64x image inside i can use the repair option only for 32x installs and if i want to repair a 64x install i get the error that I'm not using the correct install. I guess there is a difference between the 32x boot.wim and the 64x boot.wim. This problem is kinda annoying because i still need to have 2x CD's with the …

My experience with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 were not so good so far, but I'm guessing that this issues are related to Thinkpad T500 drivers rather than the Service Pack itself. I have reinstalled Windows 7 SP1 x64from .iso image that I got from Technet. First issues were that once I opened the lid and my PC came out of standby I couldn't get brightness on the screen, fingerprint software wasn't working at al etc. I have then reinstalled once again and used only Windows Update drivers. Hello, I would like to set up a small network of two PC's I have, both running windows 7 Ultimate 32. I already have a (D-link) router so I can use them both now, one at a time, by use of a hardware-switch for the common monitor and by switching keyboard and mouse. i'm trying to intergrate nvidia quadro 550 and 570 x86 drivers into an install.wim file. I got the cabs via windows update catalog and have extracted the cabs into 2 folders one for 550 other for 570 when i go to add them i get the error 30 saying it can't find the files. I've tried expanding the dl_ and sy_ files and all the exe packed files but still no luck. has anyone else ran into this problem if so how did you fix it. I'd like to say away from driverpacks.net files as these are more up to date from windows update catalog.
