  1. Bober

I have found a liitle typo in the batch file

    :epand_serbie8
if not exist "i386\IE8.cab" goto epand_nrie7
    echo extracting IE8.cab
if not exist "IE8" md "IE8"
    %xp% "I386\IE8.CAB" -F:* "SERBIE8" >nul <----- Shouldn't this extract to IE8
    :serbie8ieframemui
    set name=ieframe
    set name1=dll
    set ext=mui
if not exist "IE8\%name%.%name1%.%ext%" goto serbie8hmmapimui

Also you have omitted deleting the temp IE8 folder at the end of the batch

    for %%i in ("7ztmp" "%tmp%" "%res%" "NRIE7en" "%xtra%" "%sptmp%" "mcetmp" "wmptmp" "Programs") do if exist %%i rd /s /q %%i
    endlocal
    for %%i in ("*.DDF" "%~dp0%~nx0") do if exist %%i del /q /f %%i

  2. The themes don't add any registry entries so you can safely delete the unwanted .theme and corresponding folder(s) from C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\

    edit

just done a quick seach in the registry and the only entires are for your current theme and these are overwritten when the theme is changed.

  4. ASUS P5Q Deluxe looks very good!

it can go up to 16GB RAM! :)

seems to be the one for me

now... where to buy the thing.....

    lol

    thanks

You can try Microdirect.co.uk Asus P5Q Deluxe or Aria.co.uk Asus P5Q Deluxe

As I live near Manchester then these are the 2 places that I tend to use for getting my PC stuff from as I can easily drive there since I am too impatient to wait the few days it takes to have them posted.

Got an Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro with 512Mb DDR400 with an AMD Athlon x64 - can't remember what speed but its only a single core

    Link: GA-K8N Pro

I will be supplying the MB with all the relevant connectors/IDE cables and back plates that you will need.

This MB is AGP and as I don't have a spare AGP graphics card lurking about maybe someone from the site will be able to donate one.
