  1. I get the same results using the classic way with 3020369 and 2670838 as prereq's. for some reason kb3136000 repeats to be installed when I use the NFW 4.61 "wa" file from 5/18/16 as an add-on in WTK. for what its worth everything else seems fine. It passes sfc and I only had about 8 other updates including defender and MSRT for June. For now until the new UL comes out I'll just hide 3136000 after it installs the first time. regards...
  2. nonsense I am using the "wa" add-on from may 2016 at this link, 64 version, sha matches....now trying a classic iso with 3020369 and 2670838 as prereq's. just experimenting. removed 3004375 on VM... regards...
  3. ok great advice by both of you. Unfortunately (or fortuneately?) I am on vacation for 4th of July here in the states. This is my laptop and all my files are on my home computer. No access at this time. I'll keep monitoring this thread but can't respond with these advice(s) till at least the 5th. and yes thiersee I am using the common updates and yes I have silents et al as per my ini file posted earlier. So I'll make it really vanilla clean when I get home and also check the sha (long shot). regards...
  4. thanks so much for your reply. I will take this under consideration. however, i am so close to getting a classic iso "perfect" I will stay that course for awhile. the only thing that I can see causing this issue is an integrated update (but which one??) that I am using. Since I am using a clean media refresh sp1 win 7_64 home premium iso, and only using the classic and optional updates from the 6_22_16 UL, with the IE11 cab, with no NFW 4.61 WA the problem must reside in a previous integrated update. right after creation I run the ricktendo slim NFW 4.61 exe. Then 3136000 appears in WU. It gets installed (its on the installed list) and then another manual check for updates makes it appear again. If you choose to install, it does, and appears on the list a 2nd time and then I would assume in perpetuity. I'll try not integrating the optional updates and go on from there. If i can't figure it out I'll just leave NFW out altogether and see what happens. so close, yet so far! regards...
  5. yes I know its something I'm doing but its time consuming trying to figure it out. I know I am not alone with that kb3136000 re-install because google is full of hits on that subject. the good news is that you (and any others) have created a "CLEAN" win 7 iso. Since that is the objective of this entire thread then I will perservere on. can you point me to abbod1406's lists and scripts. I'm on holiday and will continue this next week. regards...
  6. I just installed NFW 4.61 with the WPI and KB3136000 has returned to be installed repeatedly. As of now I do not see a fix if you use classic updates to make a new win 7 ISO. I would use the convenience rollup which does not have this issue but that fails sfc. Maybe next month? regards....
  7. thx for replies. I am playing around with the WPI. I really don't see an difference running the NFW 4.61 installer with the WPI or just running the 4.61 installer (ricktendo) from the desktop where I have placed the file. Doing it now... regards...
  8. This is weird. While experimenting with this 3136000 issue I removed the NFW 4.61 WA add-on and put the NFW 4.61 slim x86_x64 from that ricktendo link as a file (to be installed) on my desktop. after the vm iso install the first thing I did was check WU. one of the updates to be installed was 3136000 but I never installed any NFW. I went to programs and features and on the list of installed programs is NFW 4.61 hotfix rollup kb3154529. I checked all integration folders and WTK integration and nowhere can I find kb3154529. so I installed 3136000 anyway and then it still wants to be re-installed. I then uninstalled the NFW 3154529 (programs and features), went to M$ site and downloaded NFW 4.61 (its kb310xxxx from memory). afterwards 3136000 still wants to be re-installed. you say you "post install with the exe file". I assume what I am doing is what you do? Or am I doing something differently? regards....
  9. thiersee that new NFW 4.61 add-on did the trick. I did not know that the NFW add-on's actually get their own updates. I found it on the WTK forum. Thx much! The only "small" issue I have is when doing the CLASSIC there are 4 updates that are in the integration but always are asked to be installed by WU after a new install. They are 3035126, 3078601, 3109094, 3110329. Do you think there are prerequisites or a certain order to be installed? also 2952664 and 3123862 don't seem like thay can be manually installed because I cant find them (as msu's) on $M website. however at this point I am very satisfied with only having 9 updates after install and sfc passes. lastly I am still getting 3136000 wanting to be installed over and over. The link says to install 3122661 and 3127233 first, but both those NFW updates are .EXE files. can they be integrated in WTK as EXE files so this 3136000 doesn't keep wanting to be re-installed? regards...
  10. what installer? I just made a new classic iso from scratch and that problem exists in my install. how can that be fixed? regards...
  11. I am using an addon (WA) file in WTK. I just read some of the posts in that link about kb3136000. My last 2 installs kb3136000 gets installed then wants to be re-installed again and again and again! I had to hide it in WU. I see that there was a fix (Italy) by having 2 other kb's installed FIRST. wow this is insane. Its like we (mainly others who have tirelessly worked to make this right) are in the engineering dept of M$. IF M$ came out with this convenience (that's a funny name) rollup why didn't they (and why WON'T) they just finally come out with a win 7 sp2. They should actually been working on a sp3 by now. It's been 7 yrs. I know most responses will be they want everyone to go to win 10. however win 7 will be supported till sometime 2020. This is very irresponsible by M$. just venting... regards...
  12. I have a number of WU after install on my VM pertaining to NFW 4.6. I went to Microsoft download website and these KB's are EXE files. Is there a way to integrate them in WTK? Don't they have to be either a CAB or MSU? regards....
  13. Yes of course I will. My objective is to have an updated win 7_64 iso with all current WU (or as many as we can get) that PASSES SFC and then be able to update that iso every month when the new UL are updated in post 1. If an automated script will help, great. Or just a procedure step by step might be easier? regards...
  14. no not convenience rollup, classic integration. do you need to do the prerequisites etc. I just got this error doing the classic...don't know what it is...its 180kb screenshot from wtk. this forum says its too large? to attach... regards.. edit...disregard...I took out the ie11.exe and replaced it with the ie11.cab. previously kb3161608 would not install. now ALL is well. with this classic integration SFC passes and I am left with 14 updates (mainly NFW 4.61). The size of my ISO is 5.02gb so I will probably have to use a dvd DL if installing non usb flash. I just find it easier using the classic because you don't have to remember prerequisites and other rules. to each his own. been a very educational experience. thx much. regards...
  15. yes I forgot to add the common updates. getting bleary eyed here. and thx for the .cab link (and that article on why sfc fails with the convenience rollup). when doing the classic do the same prerequisites have to be done? right now 3020369, 2533552, 2603229, 3046269 (in that order) are in the silent list. regards...
  16. I just ran a "CLASSIC" wtk install. I used all the classic updates from the 6/22/16 uls in the first post. SFC passes, however IE11 did not get integrated (its an exe in my update list and got a green check) and there are 73 updates in WU after installation. shouldn't there be over 225 CLASSIC updates while there are only about 153 in the 6/22 UL? What am I missing? regards...
  17. does "I don't have issues, using win toolkit" at the end of your post mean that you pass SFC using the convenience rollup? regards...
  18. ok everything seems ok with the install unfortunately SFC FAILS the scan but it does repair the file(s). That means every install needs a sfc scan which adds more time to an installation which is a drag. To give you an idea of what I integrate>>>I started with a media refresh win 7_64 sp1 iso and wtk v.1.5.4.4. I used your convenience rollup method exactly as you told me, no deviation. I used NFW 4.61 add-on. I used in the updates IE11 exe as the only non-included update from your list. I believe I have 54 updates in all. my silents include adobe reader, FP, malwarebytes, ccleaner, google toolbar, kb's 2533552, 2603229, 3046269 and the rollup last. there were 8 updates to be installed in WU after install, mostly NFW 4.6 stuff. I think we need to find a way to have sfc pass. If anyone else has a clean SFC scan please comment... regards....
  19. ok got it. I am about to make the new rollup 6/22/16 iso with all your instructions. I was including GWX (like never10) as a file being put on the desktop which I was installing (afterwards) to stop win 10. That can now be eliminated. after using this method have you run sfc? I will let you know if my iso passes SFC. when I made the last iso which was close to your instructions it failed but was able to repair the files. I just hate to have to run sfc after every new install. but again I will report back. thx much. regards
  20. rhahgleuhargh thanks again. I have everything from your post setup to go in WTK. I'll just await your response to this VERY nubie question so plz don't hit me over the head. what does SFX stand for and how (where) do I get rollup.exe to add to the silent SFX section? I assume I leave the win10 telemetry updates UNCHECKED. also don't know where or how to run win10.vbs. or if that's even necessary combined with rollup.exe. I do NOT want win10 updates installed. sorry to have you go step by step, but I'm almost at the promised land!! regards...
  21. guys I was able to complete a very successful convenience rollup WTK iso (THANK YOU!). This is what I ended up with. Any comments appreciated. The only kb in my silent is 2533552 which installed in about 4 minutes. Leaving out 3035583 and the june malicious tool, I had 11 important updates in WU. 2 are for NFW 3.51, 4 are for NFW 4.6 and 4.61 (I use nfw 4.61 as an addon in wtk) and kb's 2952664, 3021917, 3068708, 3080149 and 3123862. regards...
  22. ok WTK almost finished. before I use it on VM, the only update not integrating is KB2533552. I assume I have to put it in the silent or can I not do that and let WU find it when manually checking? I seem to remember that kb2533552 takes about 30 minutes (or longer) to install via silent... in addition what about 2603229 and 3046269? regards...
