    1) I use version 6.0.4 and when I choose an edition (no matter if Windows 7 or Office 2010) the pull-down menu begins wide an becomes narrower very quickly; is it normal?

That's certainly not normal. Which version of Windows and MSIE do you use? I built the interface on the new Bootstrap 4.1. It might have issues on IE9 or IE10. I've only tested the interface on IE11 so far. Does the Bootstrap 4.1 pull-down in your MSIE directly (for example here: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.1/components/forms/#form-controls)?

    2) Do you know, which Service Pack (RTM, SP1 or SP2) is in the Office 2010 downloads?

Judging from the file size, they must be RTM. As far as I know, there are no official slipstreamed SP1 and SP2 downloads anyway. The official SP1 downloads just used to be an RTM version with the SP1 files in the updates folder, so that SP1 would be installed on top of RTM. I'm not aware any official SP2 download has ever been available.

I can't prevent the scanner from quarantaining them if you upload them again.

If you're 100% sure that the files are clean, please zip them with password, and upload the archive, so that the scanner is not gonna flag them again.

  3. Thanks for the feedback. I was going to update a number of texts ayway in the next release, so I can make at least one your requested changes with it.

    1.  In the program itself, please add an update section.  Unless I am missing it I don't see anything to check for a newer version.

There's "What's new?" on the start screen, which tells you about new updates. I don't think it's possible to have a portable app (like the ISO downloader) that updates (replaces) itself automatically.

    2. Please add a description below the product that briefly describes the product.  After you choose Edition then Language, please add a description such as Windows Preinstallation Environment is..

MS adds new stuff all the time, and about many downloads, I have no idea what they are. Therefore, adding individual descriptions is currently not an option. If you don't know what something is, you're probably not gonna need it, especially in the "developer" dropdown.

    3.  If I didn't request this already, please add any MSDaRT versions and add a separate category for it.

MSDaRT is only available to customers with Software Assurance for Windows Client OS. It's impossible to add it.

    4.  Please add a BACK button to the screen so the user can go back to the previous screen.

"Back" is not supported by the MS Downloads API. Therefore, a back button doesn't work. I've tried it already.

    5. Please add a note to Window Editions stating a user must be log in before downloading the ISO.

This is a very good point. Only Insider and developer versions require log in. I'll add a note to the start screen.

  4. The easiest way is to use Rufus and install from a pen drive:

    https://rufus.akeo.ie/

You could also burn the ISO file to a disc and install from there, but I've made the experience that the latest Win 10 version 1803 no longer fits on a single DVD - so the remaining option would be to use a BD disc for that (which really would be a waste of money).

  5. Dear forum members,

The last forum software update killed numerous avatar images. The issue has already been raised to the vendor.

To get your avatar back immediately, go to your profile, click on the camera icon under your profile photo, and select "Use Gravatar".

Otherwise, your avatar might or might not be coming back with a future forum software update.
