WinUI is powered by a highly optimized C++ core and can be used to build modern and seamless UIs that would look and feel natural while being fully optimized on every single Windows device. It is a state-of-the-art UI framework for all Windows apps for both Win32 and UWP.
WinUI also embodies Fluent Design to enable intuitive, accessible, and powerful experiences. It allows developers to migrate existing apps written in well known MFC, Winforms, Silverlight, and WFT technologies.
WinUI is available for Windows 10 and Windows 10X powered devices and will continually expand to meet the needs of modern devices.
The new web site consists of WinUI related information, documents, source code, and a blog.
WinUI is currently in Alpha 3.0 release and the pre-release build of it is currently available on Github.
