Microsoft is giving away 25 Xbox Games with select Windows PCs
Microsoft is celebrating 25 years of Xbox with a promotion that could be particularly attractive to anyone planning to buy a new Windows PC or gaming handheld. Customers purchasing an eligible device can claim 25 games worth more than $500.

The collection is a mix of familiar franchises, older classics, and more recent releases. Bethesda, id Software, Activision, and several other studios are represented, making this more than just a collection of obscure titles thrown together for an anniversary.
The complete collection includes:
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Minecraft Dungeons, Gears of War: Reloaded, Call of Duty: WWII, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, DOOM, DOOM II, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, Age of Mythology: Retold, Quake, Quake II, Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Outer Worlds, Rise of Nations: Extended Edition, As Dusk Falls, Battletoads, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection, Fuzion Frenzy, Gears Tactics, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, BLINX: The Time Sweeper.
One thing worth checking before claiming the bundle is Xbox Play Anywhere compatibility. Not every game supports it, meaning owning the Windows version doesn’t automatically grant access to the Xbox console version. Call of Duty: WWII, Fallout 76, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Minecraft Dungeons are among the notable exceptions.
There are also restrictions on which devices qualify. Microsoft requires a new Windows PC or handheld with Windows Home preinstalled, or an eligible Windows Pro PC running on NVIDIA RTX Spark silicon. Refurbished devices and purchases through unauthorized sellers or online marketplaces are excluded.
For anyone already considering a new PC, getting 25 additional games could make the purchase considerably more appealing. Just make sure the device qualifies before placing an order.
