Win Toolkit Requests

sir there should be more options like: 1. just like "take ownership" option, there should be option to remove "take ownership" option. 2. in Internet explorer there should be option to show tabs on separate row. 3. option to show status bar of Internet explorer does not work in Internet explorer 11 in windows 8.1 and windows 7sp1. 4. when we remove some components from image it should display how much space will be free/recover after removing particular component.

Is there a definite guide to making a win toolkit addon? I need to know how to add reg for x86 only or x64 and also for the program to put the files in program files on x86 but not on x64 (they neet to go in the pf x86) I want to give a go at making a Daemon Tools Lite addon

Lets say I want not to add certain Patches (e.g. KB3035583 or KB3021917) to the Win Toolkit repository on the target ISO archive (for 64bit Win7). How can I achieve this? Maybe there is a way to add it at first but prevent later installation. is there an exclude file where I can enter all unwanted patch IDs? Thank you Peter

In component removal tool, wintoolkit should display all the existing gadgets/sound files/pictures/wallpapers/drivers so that we can choose which we have to delete or which we have to keep in image.

Also the folder to capture browse button should start at the last parent directory used for the previous capture.

I dont know if the option is available elseware in the toolkit but the ISO maker should have an option to split the image over several DVD/CD's for those whose WIM is too large to fit on a single DVD or who only have a CD Rom drive they can span it over multiple CD's

When I try to integrate windows updates into a fresh image, sometimes a whole bunch of them end up "red", i.e., they weren't integrated. It would be very helpful if the program somehow reported why they failed.... so I can intelligently a. remove them from the .ini , or b. fix whatever's broken and try again thanks! -g

I noticed that when i download for example McRip Win7 x64 all the downloaded files had their modify dates changed to current date. I would like if WTK would respect and preserve file dates as they appear on the server.

I know there is an option to add registry files, however I had the damnedest time trying to find it. If I had not selected the 'Add' button under tweaks, I would have never known that option was there. Would it not be easier to add another tab next to the tweaks that lists registry files?

As a DISM GUI, DX WinNT6.x True Integrator is very handy, but it has some bugs. I would like to see that WinTookit can integrate a DISM GUI into the All-in-one integrator. That will be really great, since there are way too many packages for windows server, as listed here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh825322.aspx. Will be very usefull if the following it is possible, to be added in Toolkit: When you edit some WIM file WinToolkit using DISM for mount-unmount Modified date is not changed, and I've find out that if after mounting Wintoolkit capture the mounted folder and unmount with discarding changes from the first one, and put new captured install.wim to overwrite the old one, in Select Edition window date in "Modified date" will be changed. Ram is cheap these days and like many others i have more than i really need. So my thought is what about an option that we can tick that then causes win toolkit to use ram drive for mounting instead of the normal location. ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver "http://www.ltr-data.se/opencode.html/" is a free open Source program that supports creating ram drives on any windows including 7 & 8 32bit or 64bit. Hey, Currently if i need to install or need to put files into a iso i will need to use dism and mount it and copy the files over, But mostly i use wintoolkit for about everything, so would it be possible to have a new tab where i can select files + directory where to put files ? As this would save a ton of time when i need to do 5 different mounts + 4 for 64bit. Sample, placing the SetupComplete.cmd file, Would be nice if i could just select the file and it would be added, + other files i have SetupComplete.cmd set to run or move etc. I have some applications i would love to have in the iso like panda cloud, flash, adobe reader, open office etc. But not pre-installe…

Heyho Liam, In memory at WHD, i missing the feature to extract updates for a language, choosen by user. Means glb-updates extract just the x-none and the updates in language which is selected Example: You choose en-us for selection, all other updates for other languages will removed. MSP Extractor filtering all x-none and en-us-updates for you, all other wil removed. Off cause no filtering on proofing-updates.
