Windows 8

Is there a way to install Windows 8 from a DVD instead of from the frekin' Backup on 16gb I had to make 2 times when we buyed 2 computers. With Windows 7 which I have I can download a windows iso and use the serial I have. With these two win8 computers there is no serial sticker, I guess it's embedded in the BIOS. In fact we could not even install 8.1 update because it didn't accept our serials (I found the serials with a program) and 8.1 update needed that to continue. Our win8 computers is: HP Pavilion G6 (daughters laptop) and Acer Aspire X600 (girlfriends desktop) I don't actually want to use those backups. Hello.. I am trying to integration updated in win 8.1 pro version Build 9600. I have download all updates whdownloader. But, every time try to install update into teh windows 8.1 pro version I get error. I hope someone can help with it.

1 - How do I add .exe updates? For instance, KB2756872 contains three msu files and one exe file. Should I put all four of them in a cab file instead? 2 - Is it safe to delete the subfolders in \winsxs created after updating? I won't be able to uninstall the updates, but are there any other consequences?

Anybody know why Microsoft declares MS Office 2003 incompatible with Windows 8--other than to goose MSO sales? MSO 2003 installs fine on my Windows 8 Pro and Word, Excel and PowerPoint all seem to launch correctly and save files. Just curious if there is some unknow issue lurking before I put it on a production unit. I've searched the net and seen the incompatibility warnings but no explanation.

sir i have downloaded windows 8.1 and it has having default language English-united kingdom: en-GB then i have downloaded language pack English-united states: en-US for windows 8.1 and i have added to this language pack into windows 8.1 iso image using DISM successfully, also i have set default language: English-united states: en-US using DISM command: dism /get-intl dism /set-allintl:en-us the i have removed language pack "English-united kingdom:en-GB" using DISM, but during installation by defaults it picks united kingdom language, look at screen shot, i want to set default as united states, how?

I have been researching on how to install win8 with a modified drivers but the problem is i can't locate the video drivers in the image when i mount it with wintoolkit (component remover). on the remove component page, i see drivers, but only 3 of them; common modem drivers, ethernet drivers and printer drivers.
