One of our private TV's in Croatia has a TV show which is nothing but a pure deception. In the latest show, players had to guess how many triangles has an object shown in the picture..Also, here you can see how many triangles really is in that object and what is the correct answer. OK, correct answer should be 27 right, and if you think this too, you're right, but not here, not on NovaTV, a deceiving Croatian TV, cause they gave us this solution: Apparently there's 71 triangles in that object, so tell me guys, who's insane here??? Tip: Try with pausing the video so you can see how many invalid triangles were bolded in THEIR solution..

Stylish batteries may not be on your top 100 list of fashion accessories -- especially if you never knew they were an option -- but if you think about it, in the back of your mind, haven't you always wished for a prettier battery? After all, it's a product that shows up in your life on a daily basis, and you have to look at it just like you have to look at your coffee maker or toaster, which have long been a part of the world of style. UK company Moxia Energy, maker of the USBCell rechargeable battery, will soon be releasing these pastel-colored AA batteries for the "increasingly fashion conscious battery consumer." There's no information yet on pricing of the pastel bat…

OpenID login methond has been removed from WinCert.net for the reasons mentioned in post on robrohan.com web site: This blog has been having some serious uptime problems, but with our move and starting our new jobs, I haven't had time to look into the problem. At completely random times the server would just spin out of control as if it was under a denial of service attack. I figured it was just someone's home made, badly written spider, and it would just stop – but it kept happening. Finally, I got a chance to sit down and see what might be going on with the box, and it looks like someone – well, several people, actually a lot of people – were using the OpenID plugin on …

VMware Inc today released version 6 of its virtualization product VMware Workstation. VMware Workstation runs under a wide range of Linux and Windows versions and allows installation of an even wider range of guest operating systems within virtual machines. Among many possible applications are letting help desk personnel easily keep different Windows versions at hand, testing new software products under a variety of environments, and analyzing malicious software without the risk that it might damage a physical computer. Version 6 adds full support for Windows Vista both as host and guest along with significant feature enhancements from the previous version. With this ver…

NASA astronomers Monday reported the biggest and brightest star explosion ever recorded, a blast whose light began reaching Earth in the past year from 240 million light-years away. The remnants of the explosion pose no threat to people or electronics, but it still offers hints of a future fireworks display from another, much closer star

Oh my, Metallica will never learn.. In May of 2000, when Lars Ulrich personally delivered a 60,000-page printout of the Napster users who were sharing Metallica songs, he probably never suspected that the online backlash against his band would still be running at full steam eight years later. Sometimes, hindsight is everything. The band's unveiling of a fan-outreach program called Mission: Metallica, including DRM-free downloads and access to unreleased material, reflects a new understanding on their part about how the internet works: Give people what they want or they'll get it from somewhere else. But when we first posted about Metallica's plans for some sort of Radio…

The Vulcania watch was inspired by Captain Nemo's fictional home, Vulcania. And while our limited experience on the high seas doesn't allow us to appreciate the mechanical allusions to their fullest, the deep nature of the face allows for a 3-dimensional view that even our landlocked perspective can appreciate in a plebeian way. Rear sapphire paneling allows your wrist a another view of the mechanics and the side portholes are a great touch, too. But with only 11 being produced in the world, it's doubtful any of us will sea one (get it?) in person. Source: engadget
