  1. Please hold on for a while. I might have finally found the perfect skin match for our forum. I'm still testing it, but once it is complete, you'll get the better feeling for the color of our new logo. I might provide .PSD file also. Cheers.
  2. Some of you might Google before you find out that Microsoft made a tutorial on how to customize a Windows 7 theme. For that purpose I will post that tutorial for your information. I was checking the processes today and I just can't find any process that's consuming such a lot of memory. When I sum all of the active processes I shouldn't be using more than 40% of my physical memory, but my task manager is showing 85%. I really don't know where to start
  5. That IS the full editor So is it working now?
  6. Full editor should be light blue and linkable. Will report it again..
  7. Has anyone experienced after your PC is on for extended periods of time that you don't have any available memory left? Once my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 OS boots, memory usage is at about 32%, but after it runs through the day, memory usage jumps to more than 90%. no matter if I don't have any active programs. Once I hit that stage, I get the "insufficient resources when trying to open programs" error. It is probably related to some third party application having a memory leak. I've googled and found that it could be related with audiodg.exe which is a Creative driver process. Just for the record, I have 4GB of DDR2 RAM. I will try to track what's going on with process explorer, but if anyone experience similar problem, please post here.
  8. Thanks for the report guys. Those are two reported bugs which should been fixed now. Here's the reply from the support. Check your topics and do a hard refresh of your browser as stated above. Please, update this topic with your feedback. Thanks
  9. Ok, I've already reported links issue. Seems that something's wrong with bbcode in the latest version we've applied to this forum. As for the full editor, before I report this, can you please delete cache and try again. Also, is this happening with other browsers too?
  10. That's not bad at all, you've made a good choice.
  11. Those links work fine for me. Can you please make a screenshot and mark those links in it, also make a screenshot of the part where you can't use the full editor. Thanks
  12. You should have all of the messages you had in the previous forum version.
  13. Optional
  14. Here's one of the works from a friend of mine. If anyone likes that logo, I have it in .psd in high resolution.
  15. It should be a logo with the text. Thanks!
  16. Make a backup the SFC_OS.DLL in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory. Make an additional copy of SFC_OS.DLL called SFC_OS1.DLL and open it in a hex editor. Windows XP (no Service Pack) At offset 0000E2B8 (0E2B8h) you should find the values "8B" and "C6". Windows XP (Service Pack 1) At offset 0000E3BB (0E3BBh) you should find the values "8B" and "C6". Do not continue if you are unable to find these values. Change the values "8B C6" to read "90 90" and save the changes. Run these commands to update the system files: copy c:\windows\system32\sfc_os1.dll c:\windows\system32\sfc_os.dll /y copy c:\windows\system32\sfc_os1.dll c:\windows\system32\dllcache\sfc_os.dll /y If you are prompted to insert the Windows CD, click Cancel. Restart Windows for the change to take effect. Once these files have been updated apply the registry setting above. Note: You must manually modify the operating system files using a hex editor to allow this tweak to disable SFC on Windows 2000 (SP1+) or Windows XP. Edit: I've just noticed your post was how to do it in CMD. Sorry.
  17. I got several suggestions that we should change the logo with the new forum look. If someone is good with graphics, I would appreciate if I see some custom made suggestions in this topic. Here are works and suggestions so far: ::V J:: Regards,
  18. Ok, I'll create a new topic, so we can see all suggestions for the new wincert logo. You can post your suggestion HERE.
  19. Anyone cares to design the new logo for WinCert.net?
  20. How To Change Windows 7 Logon Screen Here's how to do it manually Its is always nice to know how things work behind the scenes, what better way to do so then try them out yourself. To change the logon screen manually follow these steps: Run the registry editor (Win Key + R and then type regedit, press enter) Navigate to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background , double click on key named OEMBackground and change its value to 1 (If you cannot find the path or the key go ahead and create it, remember OEMBackground is a Dword) You just enabled the OEM Background functionality. Now browse to the folder %windir%\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds within Windows explorer. %windir% refers to your Windows install directory C:\Windows in most systems. Again the folder path may not exist already, so you can go ahead and create required folders (info and backgrounds are generally not present) Now put in any JPG file with size less than 256 kb in this folder and rename it to backgroundDefault.jpg. This file will be stretched to fit the screen, so you would want it to match the resolution of your screen so that image doesn

  22. Probably a spam, link removed.
  23. Forum themes aren't my primary occupation now since I still have occasional issues with high server load, although I'm paying 90$/month for it. In my honest opinion, Cleancut seems to be working very good, we might do some changes on it, but not much. I'm also waiting for one skinner to do a custom skin for me, but I'm not sure when will that be.
  24. Nah, you didn't offend anyone
