Sorry zookey I haven't understood you properly. If your fan is buzzing, you can check if there's some other cable touching the fan, or your fan might be bad. You can also try to clean the fan and remove the dust from i for a start.

  12. Not sure how much it will be, but it won't be 1$ for sure. Anyway, domain is the cheapest part of your web business, so why worry
  13. If you have setup Active Directory and domain, and you have created users in the domain, there's nothing you need to do next. Those users should be able to login to that domain.

Also, consider buying UPS, it may save you a lot of money if you have constant power issues.

I would also change the topic titles, so read topics are normal and unread topics are bold. I would also use those balloon icons, as you can see in the picture below. Thoughts?

  20. Thanks, here's what Microsoft says about this: Make sure that the RAM in your computer is not damaged and is installed correctly: Warning In the following procedure, you will remove RAM from your computer. Do not complete this procedure unless you are very familiar with the correct precautions to use when you remove internal computer hardware components. The internal components of some computers may be damaged by static electricity discharge, use of too much force for removal or insertion, or the use of inappropriate tools. Turn off your computer. Remove the memory modules that are installed in your computer, but leave enough RAM for your computer to start and run Windows. System requirements for Microsoft Windows 2000 operating systems Start your computer. If you still receive the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section of this article, remove a different memory module. You may have to restart your computer several times to identify the specific memory module that is not working correctly. If you determine that one or more memory modules are damaged, replace the damaged RAM, and then test to determine if the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, do not complete the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved or you determine that none of your memory modules are damaged, go to step 2. Important If your computer is using the NTFS file system, you cannot use the following procedure to expand the Fastfat.sys file. Instead, you must create a parallel installation of Windows 2000. HOW TO: Perform a Parallel Installation of Windows 2000 Start your computer by using a startup disk that contains drivers for your CD-ROM drive. For example, you can use a startup disk from a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition. At the command prompt, type cd c:\winnt\system32\drivers, and then press ENTER. Type dir fastfat.sys, and then press ENTER. If you receive a "File not found" message, go to step 6. If you do not receive a "File not found" message, go to the next step. Type ren fastfat.sys fastfat.old, and then press ENTER. Type CD-ROM drive letter:, and then press ENTER. Type cd i386, and then press ENTER. Type expand.exe fastfat.sy_ c:\winnt\system32\drivers\fastfat.sys, and then press ENTER. Type c:, and then press ENTER. Restart your computer.

My company is getting a replacement for my old business laptop and I have the opportunity to choose one of Lenovo models. I'm considering to choose either T500 or W500. Difference is only in screentype, screen resolution and graphic card, at least I think so. Although, graphic cards should be equivalent. LENOVO ThinkPad W500 • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2,80GHz (6MB cache) • Display: 15.4" WUXGA TFT 1920 x 1200 • Graphics: ATIMobility FireGL V5700 512MB • Memory: 2x 2GB DDR3 1066MHz (proširivo do 4GB) • Hard disk: 320GB SATA 7200rpm • DVD-ROM: DVD RW DL • Size: 357 x 255 x 33 mm • Weight: 2.6kg Lenovo ThinkPad T500 • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2,80GHz (6MB cache) • Display: 15.4" WSXGA+ TFT 1680 x 1050, AntiGlare • Graphics: ATIMobility Radeon HD3650 256MB • Memory: 2x 2GB DDR3 1066MHz (proširivo do 8GB) • Hard disk 320GB SATA • DVD-ROM: DVD RW DL • Size: 357 x 255 x 29.7 mm • Weight: 2.63kg I'm considering to go with T model as thishas better resolution IMO. I saw 1920x1200 on a 15.4 inch screen and it's hardto work on it if you don't put your eyes on the screen. Graphic cards should beequivalent, so no noticeable difference among those two. Everything else is the same. What are youropinions, thoughts?
