I know what you mean, but in this case it's quite pointless IMHO. Either integrate it as a svcpack addon, or extract the switchless installer and run that from a location c.q. installation point you like. Also, the MSI itself checks if all requirements and conditions are met; if not, it will simply not install.

Nero 6 is my favorite Nero version as well. And I haven't had any troubles with DVDs with it either. Nero 9 Free is very limited adware, and about 60MB compressed (vs. the 12MB of this Lite package). Edit: Added jamesbebby's LightScribe Driver addon to the OP.
